I think he's trying to say that Fish of Fury is only justified if you can do the same thing with Valkyries.

Yeah sorry that was terrible i was asking where i could refer people to in the rules to justify FoF in a tournament and to show it is legal.
And if you cant move through or under space occupied by other models does that mean you could use valkries to create a barrier between you and the enemy?
Just Like FoF

You CAN move underneath other models, ONLY skimmers are prohibited from ending their move over other models.
As long as the base, if enemy, is more than 1" from the valkyrie hull AND the model can fit underneatht he Valk, then enemy models can move through it, meaning FoF is not going to work.

Melee for skimmers is measured from the base or the hull, whatever is closest.

Yes, the high stand is about 2 inches up, so you can conceivably get quite a few models round the edges.
And grots would have a good go at killing you

Fish of Fury doesn't really work anymore, and it's not specifically mentioned in the rulebook, so you'll need to compile the relevant rules yourself. In 4th edition, skimmers did not block line of sight, so firewarriors could get out the back and hit a unit on the other side with rapid-fire pulse rifles. You were supposed to use it against assault orientated units who would then have trouble retaliating with the devilfish in the way. With true LoS, it's now quite possible that the firewarriors won't be able to see the other unit after getting out, and for units like orks and IG, even if they can be seen, the devilsfish now means they get a cover save against the pulse shots.
