Well today in my brake I was wandering around town and charity shops trying to find things for my costume, ( a party is coming up)
And I came across a piece of paper saying White Dwarf Magazines, £1.

SO I took the liberty of having a little poke through and found one particular gem back from 1989 ! Issue 111.

And I discovered this particular white dwarf Was on the Squats, I found it quite novel really.

There were so many more issue 99, 80 something, some really ooold White dwarf.

Would I be doing harm if I scanned some pages in ? if anyone wanted to have a look ?

Not at all - do a retro review!

Look at Kid Kyoto's Retro Review pages. Emulate that and you're winning!

I think 115 was the last one I bought until the Tau Empire Codex issue a few years ago. (Which was the last one I bought since.)

It had a load of expansion stuff for Space Hulk.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I had #111 from a charity shop recently too strangely enough. I had a load of WD mags from the same era and some Dragon mags and could take as many as I liked for a nominal donation. Grabbed about 20 and gave them £2 in change out my pocket and they looked suprised asked if I was sure I wanted to give as much as that!! This was the same place that tried to sell me Heroquest for 9p, yes nine pence, and asked me "are you sure?" when I gave them £1 for it.

Issue #95 is fun if you can find it, I wonder what happened to my flexi-disk?

yeah,
It's funny seeing this thread, on sunday night at the pub a friend gave me four WD's he was clearing out 112, 118, 123 & 129.

I agree old WD's are cool.

112 is very interesting as it's introducing terminator armour! there is alot of squat love and various adverts for non GW stuff... I'd like to do a KK type review if the issue hasn't been done yet.

Panic...

I love stuff like this - I bought a box of assorted OOP Dwarf and Empire miniatures for like, £2 from a charity shop near me.

There was other weird and interesting stuff in the box, too.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".

Yep, retro review as soon as possible Wolf. What could possibly be more important?

I'll try a retro review but won't do #111 if it'll tread on Wolf's toes, unless he'd like to collaborate.
