Hi folks,

I have just discovered the cool world of spotify, but cannot use it as i need to be invited!

I have tried every (well, alot ) website google throws up and have had plenty of trojans and adds for penis enlargement, but no invite code!

So this is my last resort! could a kind person please invite me!

Where have you been? It's massive. It's a site/player that lets you stream music - it has pretty much anything you could ever want, apart from The Beatles and Pink Floyd, AFAIK.

You can pay a monthly subscription or get it free, but to do so you have to be invited, and the free version also has ads every couple of songs. But it's cool, check it out.

I get it from friends, find it myself? And theres a thing like youtube these days.

Don't really see the need for extra streaming. How is the audio quality on that site?

Good. Better than most youtube videos, plus you don't have to sit through awful fan-made videos!

Sadly I have no invites, it seems us Spotify proles start with zero invites. You'll just have to put yourself on the list or find yourself a premium user.

Videos... what are those? I never watch music videos lol, i put music on with youtube, i alt tab before glimpsing even a pixel of the vid.

cheers george, i'm on the list but it will take a while. in the mean time i'm using groove shark, which is pretty good.

Soladrin, the reason i want it is because i get no radio reception in my office but the garage i work in receives it loud and clear in the workshop and the station they listen to is a local one with 8 songs on rotation.

And radio in general sucks.

I have an 80gb ipod with 72gb of songs on it but wouldn't want to leave it unattended to have it pinched.

With spotify I can use the playlists off of my itunes and let me play all my own stuff at work with no risk.

And any new stuff i hear and like i can buy from them directly, With the added bonus of listening to the full album not 20 second random clips before i buy an album that ends up all filler and one good track.

Well, thats how it will work in theory need to get it first lol.

I thought they had suspended invites for the time being? Anyway, from what I heard, the Spotify business model is in serious trouble; they are losing money hand over fist apparently.

Invites are limited to users in specific countries. The UK is one of the allowed locations.
