waste if time imho, the only 'good one' i've been too was when apoc came out, goodies for all races! but generally it's just releases for one race, and full of kids, no thanks

Im gonna go, still need to get my ticket though, maby we could have a dakka meet up,

last year was ok, it can get pretty boring pretty quick if youdon't space yourself out though

Probably going to go I guess. Its always a week before or after my birthday and I always get the tickets early so some the cash for my b day goes on shiny stuff at games day.First time you go is always amazing but I think last years was a little dissapointing . I have been 4 times now .I think sinse its going to be GW Wigans first offcial gamesday I will go. I know we went last year but it was with Southport , I gots to carry the banner >< .

It will be a bit exciting I guess coz a few kids I know at my school who are younger are going for the first time soI said I would go if they went also. Not forgetting Liam whos making me go ¬¬ evil man.

yeah last year was pretty mehhh .We should do a dakka meet up by then people might know me abit better.I will have put some of my minis onto the gallery and battle reports . So you will see more of me lol.

I love the way people shout abuse at GW and dont go.

Im simply going to see some of the stuff other people have done.
Daemon is allways good.
Couldnt care less about new releases, just want to look about and get a game or 2 in.

All games must be played on a Citadel Board.....All games must use GW scenery where appropriate.....wacky designs best left at home....don't come up with scenarios that make fun of the game, instead it should be heroic and inspiring.....

well I was going to go but im not that sure now £55 for a cool mini, a squiish at the forgeworld stand, and getting to meet a couple of you guys. but I have to suffer a 10hr coach drive (return) on a stinky coach and tohousands of screaming kids, just to see stuff that will be on the internet on tuesday

I will NOT be in attendance. Last year's experience was so bad I vowed never to return.

I found the whole thing to be very crass and an obivious retail platform to push sales for the newest shiny things.
Little support for independant games, piss-poor BL stall, rubbish FW service. Gaming was a waste of time and everything costs a fortune in the NEC.

Last year's GD had three highlights for me;
1) The drive up with my bros in the car.
2) The Exalted Champion of Chaos mini
3) Driving golf balls into the lake out the front of the NEC.

So you see, I don't need to go to GD at all to enjoy any of those things. Plus the mini this year is disgraceful. It looks like I did it.

haha youre one of the people who golfed >< that was soo funny loads of peopel were doing that .OMG the coach last year tiny mini bus dont like how they show it as a thunder hawk. It was hot and over crowded ¬¬ .

If they were shouting abuse and then went, then you'd have a point.

As it is, people are saying 'poorly laid on waste of time' 'expensive' and 'driven for sales pitch at the expense of everything else'.

And I attended one years ago and it wasn't exactly the rapture back then.

Yeah MGS, I went to one 15 years ago. It was fairly 'meh' THEN, and I was only 13... feth knows what I'd make of it now. I can barely stand going to GW on a weekend, never mind a HALL full of nerdy kids!

The day they hold one of these for free is the day I may just turn up.

I think this has got to be the most expensive Trade Fair there is.

All the other trade fairs that I've been to are free, and you can come away with free goodies, but not GM.

Im going thhrough habit i guess... games day has gone down hill lately, last year had nothing different from the year before, the last one i enjoyed was apoc release.
GW need to pull their socks up on GD content as last year people were walking out early, and with price hikes this year, im guessing theyre going to out price most of their buyers. Its a shame really, i used to really enjoy going.. i keep telling myself... it will be back on track this year... to no avail lol

£55 if you include the coach ticket in total if you buy in store. Waste of money.... Umm yeah.
The apoc games day was pretty good. The others since then not so good.
