So... Are they going to be getting an official list or do I still have to use the half anused version from the annual 2001 still? I like the list, but I wish there was a more substantial list available.

Jervis confirmed that DoW will not get a list, as GW doesn't want these wildly mixed armies anymore. He gave the separation of the old Chaos army book into three distinct armies as a further example of that policy.

That's to bad I really liked the creative license that you can have with a DoW army

So still play it, you just can't at tournies unless they let you.

Find some fan made rules or such, if your opponent is fine with it it's all good.

That policy seems to be called "Stupidity"

Yeah good point. There's no reason that you can't have fun with a DoW force, even if GW won't support it, as long as you stay with in the current stat line for which ever troops that you decide to field.

Dogs of War aren't getting anything any time soon. It's a real pity for those who actually own the models.

Or those who are sad they didn't get the models they wanted while they were available...

@Plat - I've been in the hobby a while, and even hunting for "rare" OOP stuff, GW stuff can *always* be gotten if you're willing to pay anywhere near equivalent original retail.

In many cases, you'll pay less than retail.

Just open your wallet, and you can get those minis.

Oh, I know that. I'm just too lazy half the time to hunt them down.

I'm fortunate to have a fair selection of DoW stuff, almost enough to make a small army of the stuff. I wish I had more though, they're a really fun army.

Damn... That's too bad. Hell I can still use my DoW against my buds though.

I remember them getting rid of the range and selling off the DoW stuff half price - back when GW actually had sales in their shops. I had the giants and Pirazzo's legion half price, should have bought more but you can't just buy everything you like. I also have Vespero's Vendetta, some Galloper Guns and Marco Columbo. My parents have Long Drong' Pirates, Mydas the Mean and a load of Alacanti Fellowship. I'm getting more into my painting recently so I'm going to have a bash at the Pirazzo's soon. Everything I collect gets canned by GW, I should stick to Space Marines.
