Which army do you like and why do you like it, because of its units, heros or background.

Black Country

Orks and Space Wolves. Both because I like the models.

With Orks I like the whole ramshackle tech aspect and they are great for customs.

As for the Puppies, I wanted a small Space Marine army and liked the look of the Space Wolves the best.

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

The Tyranids.

I think the idea of comsuming the galaxy is what I like about them(and the Borg came to mind).
Their units are great too.

Nids and Crons. I like playing the bad guys who just don't care about anything but devouring your entire civilization. Fluff aside, I dig the variety in Nid list building, and the simplicity and teleporting of the crons.

Space Wolves. My introduction to WH40K was reading the novel 'Space Wolf' when I was in grade five. Ever since then Ragnar Blackmane has been the hero of WH40K to me.

Maybe your grandiose vocabulary is a pathetic compensation for an insufficiency in the nether regions of your anatomy.

Grey Knights...the models are gorgeous.

Whether it be terminator or regular knight...they wreck your face...every time.

Brother Captain Stern is a beast and I have had him survive entire armies shooting at him alone. Tau?...Guard?...Stern says, "I got this."

Necrons. I'm a Terminator fan, I guess, and I like the idea of long-lost civilizations slowly pulling themselves out from the rubble and annihilating the future generations.

Too bad GW had to make them suck armywise and fluffwise.

It sucks for me cause i like all of the armies. alot. I find it hard to stick with one at a time, and constantly jump around to different Codexs to read. Im a lost cause.

But one army i've liked for the 15 years ive been into warhammer is Dark Eldar. I've always held off on collecting cause i was always told to wait for new models. I love Dark Eldar cause of their backround and fluff. Army plays awesome too!

Because we’re here,lad...

My favorite has to be Death Guard. The pre-heresy helmets, along with decay and rust and bloated bodies epitomises corruption.

Ruleswise, I play Death Guard fan-dex, so hard as nails, but horrific on points. I play 1850pts and have 37 models in total...

Eldar. I don't know why. I guess they're just a fun army to play. I'm not even sure why i started an eldar army, I had played a few games vs my brother with the macragge nids, decided I like the game. So i bought a bunch of guardians and a farseer.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

I mainly prefer Dark Eldar and Death Guard. Dark Eldar mainly because I actually like the models and the idea of Raiders. Also the purple and black scheme would be sexy.
Also Death Guard because the 'corrupted zombie marines' are just 10 shades of win.

Grey Knights because an army with core troops that can fight other armies heroes and win is cool. Plus the models are amazing.

Tau because I see them as the good guys and I love the idea of the good guys fighting against the odds. Plus I am actually a huge models (not just FW suits) and I love to fly around the table and blow up enemies for long range.

The Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas.

The Sisters of Battle are the best of the best of human troops (I hold the not unsubstantiated opinion that Astartes are something else-- Homo Sapiens Astartes, if you will). Unenhanced human beings, facing off against the greatest horrors of the galaxy with unwavering resolve and unbreakable faith. It's also why I like Guard, but I am a bit partial to Sisters because I really got into them first, before Guard.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I like orks the best right now. Mostly because of the fun you can have with the army, and when i lose minis, i dont get mad cause I expect them to die. having wholes squads of marines die truely upsets me.

Though, nids and necrons have been chatching my eyes of late. and even some tau. the eldar and dark eldar are just to soft and too fraile, minis wise, and the chaos, they are just another chapter of space marines.

I don't consider the Guard to be the underdogs. If the Guard lost more than it won, the Imperium would cease to exist.

But they don't. The Guard ARE the Imperium's army. They win, and they do so constantly and consistently. The Guard is victorious, and when the sound of a million boots marching echoes through the world, the Imperium's enemies will shudder in fear. And then the tanks and artillery arrives and they soil themselves.
