Does anybody have any real news about an upcoming codex.

I am posting this thread after I read through the entire nine page farce thread that was Beerfarts.

Well, I had the pleasure of having a cigarette with Mr Goodwin the other day, and I know *he's* not working on them.

Though I do know what is *is* working on.....

People in the know have seem new art and models, so they're in the works. How long it will take is still unknown. They were thought to come in August, but that slot is now taken by Daemons. And the Daemon Prince in that upcoming release already have leaked shots of the model 2 years ago, so even if things are seen, it might still take a while.

However, I believe someone mentioned that GW aims to do releases related to each other back to back, like the Space Hulk -> Tyranid -> Blood Angel releases. And what better to follow up Daemons, than their archnemesis?

Remember folks, rumours are indeed just that, rumours. I could, for example, claim that a certain celebrity has been caught doing an undescribed act upon an undisclosed fauna. Dark Eldar, unless he's done with his work on that army.

I have resorted to my latch ditch info source, which involves an arcane ritual wherein I stuff a blank A4 paper sheet down my boxers, gyrate my ass exactly six and a half times, and then when I pull out the A4 sheet magical words have been inscribed on it. The words said that Jeff Googwin was working on the Dark Eldar! That's right everyone, you can call the presses, inform BOLS and start spreading the word, because my ass gyrations never lie!

Same question . I can't find it, it's not in the codex section, the articles section, or the errata section.

Or there is a concerted misinformation campaign by the design studio? Not saying there is, just offering other possibilities.

Most rumours hint at an October release, as we already know a lot of or all August releases (Daemons 4 plastics 2 metal).
And we get a Dark Eldar release this year, but there is still room for a second wave to work on that will surely come (remember: full overhaul).
And Mad Doc Grotsnik is just making fun of all those fake rumour posters

And if you ask me, this gossip doesn't inspire the degree of self-delusion that MadCowCrazy's thread did. I tried to read that whole thing a while ago, but it was a horrible trainwreck of people inferring an August GK release from every vague Inquisition reference on the web. I read it now and it's full of unsubstantiated nonsense. It's little more than a big wishlist. I invite people to stop flashing the link to that thread. It's worthless. If an abundance of rumors increased the likelihood of a release, we'd have seen new DE a long, long time ago.

If January truly is the soonest we can expect GK, how accurate can rumors possibly be at this point? We're still on shaky ground with DE rumors. All anybody really knows right now is 'Demons in August.' Anything past Warhammer 8th is smoke and mirrors.
