So now that Im finally starting to paint my legion stuff, Id thought Id get some input from my favoriate online community!
To be honest though, Ive never actually tryd highlighting and various effects (such as the lava effects in the scales) on minis.
The only exception being my ForgeWorld stuff, however it was real highlighting but rather washes and drybrushing... so this is proving to be a bit challanging.
Let me know what you all think and any tips would be greatly appreciated! As soon as this model is completed (as its still a major WIP) I will post it on my long forgotten P&M Blog...

Ooh, nice color.

I'd worry about playability. I know you're using them primarily to spray, but
hanging off the base 2" like that will be a damper in game.

Still, sweet sweet paint.

Thanks malfred.

Ive just measuring from the base to avoid arguement as I assumed that was how it worked anyways (still somewhat new to Warmahordes)
I more or less made all my bases scenic and or unique posed as I wanted something entirely different from the next guy!

Well yes. You measure from the base, but that's not what I meant.

Ohhh yeah now I see what your saying, yeah it has proven to be a bit of a problem with this guy but generally my oponents have been cooperative and we just turn it around while still in b2b... just making sure to keep track on its actual facing.

Very neat! I almost did a similar cracked magma scheme for Retribution, but then changed my mind at the last minute.
