Eg - how do I strip paint off my minis; how do I photograph my minis etc

I think a fixed post at the top of the page with links to either old threads or tutorials would work.
Maybe some one could trawl the threads & amalgamate them in to one really good one (I'll do it)

Also what are the other questions you see again & again & ...

Cheers!

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Under the couch

There is a sticky at the top of the painting and modelling forum with links to the painting and modelling FAQ articles. It's been there for just over two years now.

There should be a FAQ but it needs to be more pronouced and updated often as new ideas come across. However, I do not think it will stop the repeated questions on the same subjects from noobs.

Let the repeats happen. This is a forum, people will ask old questions.

Let the people who have learned it from others teach the next ones.

I did when I got here and at just about every forum I attend. Some people do. Stopping some from re-posting is always better than stopping none. A sticky would be a great idea. It would also cut down on the few who complain about re-posts. Personally I don't mind re-posts. I mind the people who complain about it more.

Hey, if the search function actually worked reliably, that would be something, too.

Question, isn't this thread a repeat question also?

I think this is more fitting:

251 point Khador Army
245 points Ret Army

Nope, not at all.

Why?

Techniques can evolve. Products can change. Invention can revolutionize.
