My heads spinning with all the misinformation afoot. Grey knights + Dark Eldar. Whats our best estimate at release, what has been released and leaked thusfar, and what are the definite not happenings?

That's not what he meant.

He meant that this thread is for a general consensus of ALL the information they have. Basically the 40k equivalent of the WHFB Roundup thing, except its with new codices and such.

But this is dakka's news and rumours forum - you can't possibly have one summary thread when 4 rambling and contradictory threads are already running...

Someone should do an upcoming codex sticky with consolidated rumours in it. Maybe they could give rumours a 'truth' rating like Portent used to back in the day.

There are rumors of DE rules and models but no pictures.

There are rumors of GK models but no real rules rumors and no pictures.

There are rumors of Necrons for early 2011 but again, no pictures.

GW sure have got their hands firmly on the hype machine. If GW they were giving previews of upcoming releases we might actually be getting excited about things. And, as we all know, excitement has been clinically linked to high blood pressure and sudden death. So really, but not doing any previews and keeping all their cards super-glued to their chests, GW is actually just looking out for our health.

Good thing too - last thing I need is to die from sudden organ failure because GW confirmed what the next Codex was. Thanks GW!

based on the information available I have reluctantly realized that Spearhead was the last 40k release ever, the game is being killed and I should spend all my money on Star Trek Clix.

And thus another reason to switch to PP. They feed you just enough of a slow steady stream of info to keep you interested.
