Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Iron Discipline gives the Guard call it 15% extra resiliency for 15 points (if you take 3 officers).
Jungle Fighters isn't as bad as all that, just keep them in a forest. They're guard they're not assault troops. CoD + Jungle Fighters + a Forest == a happy little fire base. I give the Heavy Flamer to my Honorifica Imperialis John Rambo squad. 2/3 of the Army sits at the line plunking Lascannons and Autocannons.
/agree CoD
Don't forget Hellhounds are side armour 12. Those side skirts will save your ass every time. Any serious anti-armour weapon will blow the gak out of a Chimera.

Why take Jungle Fighters when Light Infantry does the same thing but in all terrain, not just forests. Unless you really like heavy flamers, really dislike Lascannons, and really (X2) like men in singlets, there's simply no reason to take Jungle Fighters. BYE

There's only one reason to take Jungle Fighters - if you plan to also combine it with Drop Troops. deep striking heavy flamers are...amusing, to say the least. Combine that with a meltagun in each squad, and for 850 points, you've got 10 heavy flamers and 10 meltaguns that drop from the skies.
As long as you're reasonably confident of deep strike, its a good build.

I 'spose, but I don't want to have to invent an army to get use out of a doctrine. I'd rather take an army and then use the Doctrines to bolster the choices I've already made. That and that army seems like a gimmick/one-trick-pony list. I'm a very cautious player, so I will take consistency over anything. BYE

Excellent Help with the tactica! I even took notes in my Codex! Where is the site where you have those tacticas you mentioned?
