surprised to see the shootas attached to arms, but I guess that will make them easier for the kiddies to assemble, even if it makes conversion slightly more difficult. I'd buy everything orky there today if I could.

Lots of great looking ork stuff there. The bikes have real possibilities, and lots of interesting individual models from burna boys and tankbustas. It will be nice to have some new models in my horde.

I like the truck, tho' it is very Jethro Clampett. I can see how some wouldn't like it. Maybe chicken trucks aren't your thing. (?Have you ever had sex with a chicken??) I like the bikes more, they look nasty and Orky.
The Shokk Attack Gun is appropriately OTT. And I like the squig with the mine on his back.
The new Orks do seem a bit?large. I thought GW was trying to avoid scale creep. I wonder if that's accidental or on purpose. For WHFB they have reference models for each race and they're rescaling as they go.
Anybody know who the Empire fatty-boomba-latty is? I love me the miniature fat guys. I'm just a 30mm chubby chaser.

I was once told life is like a journey on an open road but never look back into those days of old just keep on walking with your head held high beneath the light of that diamond sky and set your sights on something just out of reach and maybe someday you'll cross paths with what you seek. |

Those pic's of the Shokk don't do it justice, and it's a snotling getting sucked up and there was another one farther up the tube. It's really nice that they haven't completely redesigned the gun itself.
I thought the truks looked over busy, but i think they had just stuck every possible bit of gubbins on the one trukk to show them off, which never looks good (something someone entering golden deamon could have learnt, yes i'm talki ng about the blood angel dreadnaught with every concieveable weapon stuck on the thing including heavy bolters at the elbow joints and then topped off with a whirlwind launcher stuck on the back firing vertically, less is more.)
Finally those lootas were in plastic, there were some resins but in another of the cabinets was the familiar grey of new model camoflage, and with the joints clear.
woo woo plastic lootas.

The trukk and the bikes alone make me want to play Orcs. The burna boys are just awesome - but hopefully will look good next to the existing models. I'd hate to have to pick and choose.

OH! MY! GORK!
THAT IS JUST SO DAMN AWSOME: IT'S THE DEFINITON OF ORKINESS!!!
phey, that had to get out....this is wonderful, I can't recall when I was so excited for GW models the last time. that truck is fantastic...and so huge. the lootas are great, the burna boyz smoke cigars...
AND THEY HAVE ACTUALLY A BIG MEK WHO VAKUMMS A SNOTLING INTO HIS GUN! happy happy joy joy
I didn'tz qite know what a Tank Hammer was, but now, a stick with a bomb attached to it seems like the only choice.
and if those are the lootas, just imagine what the new flash gits will look like.
....some guy on warseer noticed this: take a closer look at the burna boy with the cigar, he hast actually a hole in his mask so he can keep smoking with his visor down!
WAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!

But I like teeth and bounciness! The cruelty of orks/orcs in the GW world should always be tempered by a healthy amount of black comedy!

Some of you know me well enough to know that I'm a relatively difficult person to please. In fact, it has been said that the only way of reliably winning my admiration is farting in tune to the score of My Fair Lady. While I consider that an exaggeration (I will accept most pre-70's musicals), the fact remains that I can be particular in my tastes. That said, I like these models.

Seb Perbet is the new God of Orks.
He killed Brian Nelson while Nelson was on a quest to destroy Mork and Gork. As Nelson laid down the last bowbacked thrust to Gork, Perbet assassinated Nelson in a move that will be extolled for many years.
Congrats Seb, on models well done. You make me want to play orks.

Now these are some seriously cool looking ork models.
Although my RT era orks and 2nd ed box game orks and 3rd ed eorks and my array of 4th ed stuff will look odd on the table.
Also Reaver Titan FTW!
Strange though that GW doesn't put the reaver in Apocalypse whilst GW is making the model. Typical marketing genius from GW.... which is why they are in the financial situation they are in.

They had to pick and choose what datasheets to put in, with everything else to be released in WD and on the web. I don't see that as causing a problem at all!
And the orks are just amazing. It's pretty much going to be orks on the table everywhere you go....

I'm loving the new Orks, except the Bikes. They look to busy to me, to much random crap strapped on just to make it orkie. I think it works just fine for the trukk, but the Bikes... I don't know. They are much cooler then the old bikes though.

Is that an Eldar rune on the weirdboyz stomach? Nice touch.
Didn't like the bkez until I saw them painted, then HOT DAMN. Too much great stuff, it does indeed look like Brian Nelson got his green krown stolen from him. Joyous cries 10 years in waiting reverberate through the halls of Imperial Dakka.

Like most of the ork stuff, they are only as busy as you want to make them. The bikes and vehicles have a bunch of pieces, so if you don't like the busy look, don't make it look so busy.
