Land Speeder types? Land Raider Crusader? Plastic Chaplains? New bike kit with plastic riders/accessory kit?
It needs to be tied to a model release.
BYE
What about scout bikers? Their metal bits aren't even compatible with the recut bike sprues. As long as they don't get nerfed or squat-ed (a possibility since they weren't in the DA or BA codex) I imagine they'll become more popular once they start popping up behind enemy lines. In fact, instead of nerfing them they could do the opposite and reduce their pts cost - maybe even give them the option for plasma and meltaguns to go along with their new plastics. Hey, GW - here's a fantastic opportunity to prove Therion's theory!

No matter what other army needs it more or deserves it more, when a new edition comes out marines will ALWAYS get the big piece of the pie. Marines = money, which is after all what gw is in it for. You can bank on that.

I suspect we'll see a new SM book by the end of 2008, or beginning of 2009. Assuming they do a good FAQ for them, the existing book will get most of the SM players though for a year or so.
I don't expect Guard until end of 2009

On the plus side, I think Guard got the 'List customization' system the best out of the books that use it, and with GW's current trend to simplified 'one size fits all' lists I don't mind the great IG codex being around for a while.

Maybe they could *gasp* invent a new unit.
They could make a new Pred variant already, or maybe twin link that damn autocannon.
They could excersize some imagination with terminators, 4x Cyclones would be cool in a 5 man heavy support squad.
I bet they'll make a kick ass Wolf Guard kit.

Can I put them on bikes too? And give them vortex grenades?

No, cuz that would just be
However, you could reintroduce the choppa rule just for them and give them all a mantle and FNP. It would make them more... fluffy.

all you need after that is a Termie Librarian, an assassin, a little energon, and a lot of luck.
As if they won't be able to fire their heavy weapons the turn they turbo boost! They're terminators!
I think we're unbalancing Space Hulk here, especially with the upcoming nerf to the rending rules.

I have a better idea. WHy dont they only do marine codices from now on, and dont make anything for any other army anymore. Then they can stop selling other armies and only have marines. Since clearly that is the direction GW has been heading for years.
