Some of those rulings actually go against what is in current FAQS and RAW.

Good thing I don't play in any UK GT's. Those rulings are just stupid in many cases.

I have news for you guys, they are as official as the Adepticon FAQs. They are not done by the GW studio, but rather by the guys who run the UKGT.
They put one of these faq out every year and they always have off the wall crap in it. Just because he works for GW UK and is running thier tournament dosn't mean he knows the rules.

Im sorry but I don't think I can see how that matters at all...
What would matter more if a representive actually came out and said "This is a FAQ, for Warhammer 40k you must use it."
Coo for the developers I guess for them getting to work on it; but tell said time of representive I'd doubt it.
And if it came truee... I'd hide in a hole...

On the bright side now I will not have to update all my orks to carry shootas. I just dont want to do it without the power fist.

It's a shame, one of the things I liked most about the new book was there was actually an incentive to give your boyz something besides sluggas. Now with the inability to take power claws we're back to the same old orks with nothing but sluggas like before.
And I understand that this isn't an "official" GW FAQ but being that it is the FAQ for the UK GTs it will still certainly seem official to a lot of people and I definitely do not envy the ork players the task of constantly trying to defend why their army list isn't illegal. A lot of people just aren't going to appreciate the subtlety of GT FAQ vs. Adepticon FAQ and this is going to do nothing but lead to needless arguments and problems.

Well, ultimately it will depend upon what tournament you are playing in, but frankly the ruling in the UKGT house rules is utter crap.
By the supposed RAW the reason you cannot take a powerklaw in a Shoota Mob is because you have to upgrade the Nob's Slugga and Choppa to a Shoota along with the rest of the unit.
The entire codex is filled with examples of Shoota mobs led by Nobs with Slugga and Choppas! In the inaugural battle report, Phil Kelly (the codex author) used a Powerklaw Nob in his Shoota mob.
The only thing that will cause confusion are people who somehow mistake the UKGT house rules for some sort of official FAQ which they shouldn't since the darn things are called HOUSE RULES.
They may be put out by the UKGW Event organizer but at the end of the day they aren't any more official than the myriad of other tournament FAQs produced by fans.

well, one thing that I was gonna do as my friend recomended is just keep all the sluggas and choppas in the ork hands then just glue a shoota to all thier backs, that way all your bases are covered and you can change your list before each event at will.

According to RAW, you have to model every upgrade, but you don't have to buy every upgrade modeled.

I wasn't talking about RAW. I was talking about WYSIWYG.
WYSIWYG isn't actually included in the current ruleset. The closest it gets is specifying in most codexes that upgrades need to be shown, but makes no reference to regular equipment.
As a gaming convention, WYSIWYG works both ways. Or rather, it only works one way, which is the way that is explained by its own name.
Including equipment on a model that it doesn't actually have is just as much against WYSIWYG as the reverse. Either way, what you are seeing is not what you are getting.
