You may be disappointed. Notice how the updated structure of the inner "toe" is shorter, requiring the leg to be positioned at an angle.

Oh, I have no doubt I will be. On the plus side, it'll save me a good 1000+ euros, so it's not all bad.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I for one will not be buying one. I prefer the armorcast ones in terms of ease of building them.

The armorcast ones were brilliant in their time. Now adays, they just strike me as cartoon characters...

In general, i think FW does a good job of getting a functional, "realistic" feel into their models.

The prices however, make me cry.

I hope they've redone the Cobra as well.

It's got a kick ass gun now and deserves a new model to keep up with the rules update.

I'd buy it.

I'm not saying Forgeworld stuff is perfect however I don't think I've came across as many problems with their kits as others on these boards.

Depends how new the kit is.

The Macharius' I have are fine. They have very few fiddly pieces, are made in as many large blocks as possible, and it looks as though it's designed to go together without much trouble.

Compare that to my Stormblade, which has moving parts where there should be none, the main hull parts simply did not fit together (and that's after I heated them and pushed them back into place so they weren't bent), and for the life of me I cannot make the track links go from one end to the other without a single break (this goes for my resin Baneblade as well). Horrendous kit. Thank the Emperor for the plastic one...

Wow on 2 counts...

LOVE the Chaplain Dread...(and Dreads full stop, for that matter.) Might have just found my new venerable Dreadnought, compared to the monstrosity that is the metal one...

And as for the Reaver...struth, lookie at that. Can't wait for some pics to give better detail and scale. Original pics left me cold, compared to my Armorcast one...but now...changing mind.

550GBP ? About $1200 Australian...time to start saving.

Thanks for the pics,

Just look at this thing. I mean just look at it!.

They've really done it this time. I was afraid they'd make a Titan that kinda looked like a Reaver, but was something different. But this is a Reaver. They've made it look like a real Reaver.

I am very impressed, and will be buying one of these for myself as a gift once I get a new job.

The Khornate stuff is really uninspired. The Nurgle stuff is so much better.

Yeah, the Nurgle stuff is better, and the Khorne stuff annoys me as they are already a fully plastic kit, I'd much rather FW released special/heavy weapons for the other powers or something. That said if FW release a Brass Scorpion then all will be forgiven.

You're welcome, but I'll say again that those were taken by the stout fellows Messrs. Philbrad and Bungaroo, so kudos to them really.

If it's larger than the Manta then I can only guess how expensive this stupid thing is going to be. It's cool as hell, but seriously, FW is way to proud of their minis. Bring those prices down so more people can enjoy this stuff.

Why should they? They can't even keep up with demand at THESE prices.

I agree with HBMC. It really is a Reaver Titan, isn't it?

I doubt that this is the style of the stuff that they are moving at an insane rate that keeps them bogged down. They have some choice models in the $50-$110 range that I bet keeps them more than busy. I'd like to know just how many Mantas they've shipped out.

Perusal of the scanned program earlier will inform you the UK price of the Reaver is £550 including free express delivery.

Insert joke about FW delivery times ....... here and here.

more info-- thanks to the guys and gals at Warseer again, especially Mr. Philbrad :

Had a look at the WIP Siege of Vraks 2 Chaos list. List included a HQ Khorne Champion (also a model was mentioned) Bezerkers are Elites Dreadclaws & Rhinos in the list. Also 'Mutant hordes' LatD anyone? Basic troop type for the list. A number of choices were still listed as WIP which included Beastmen in the army list. Book is looking good some nice artwork of an Enforcer and Renegade weapons. Auto pistols 'woz well gangsta!'

As to future releases and WIP's, there might be a break between SoV2 and the next book which is Admech several of the FW guys confirmed. They might do a Xenos vs Xenos book as so many Xenos races haven't been covered and then come back to the Admech.

Bezerkers. More on the way with variant heads, more helmeted Termis and a 'shouty' head. Evidently this 'shouty' guy is WIP but they couldn't find him to show us.

Reaver a very cool model but the one being used in the APOC game to my eyes looked better than the display one. A bit too 'straight from the Titan wash' for me. Needs more battle damage. Cobra looks cool a great revamp of the design.

FW modelling book. Not just painting but includes lots of tips on super detailing. Reminded me of Verlinden publications and makes the GW 'how to paint' guides look positively infantile. This is going on my shopping list, the demo copy on show was very impressive.

HOORAY for the xenos Vs. xenos book BOO to it delaying the Ad Mech stuff.

Oh, we can expect a Chaos Reaver too, hopefully this year.

Well, as far as I can see the only excuse for me not getting a Reaver, is the fact that I´d never be able to do it honor as far as painting is concerned.

Otherwise I´d be getting a third mortgage for my soul right now, ´cause that has got to be one of the hottest things ever.
No wonder Kylie´s stalker chose to have his day off looking at that.
