I'd swear Yair posted this in N&R a few weeks ago.

And who says I didn't?

"I personally really like Battlefront's Graeco-Bactrian Pirate Sword & Buckler men, but there are a lot of people out there who swear by Peter Pig. If only they sold them in unit-sized packs!"

"The assistant in the GW shop had never heard of Lance armed Dark Age Macedonians - kids today eh?"

"Personally I think starting a whole Yahoo! Group just for discussion of WRG 6th Royal Gladiators is a sign this hobby is getting just a little too fragmented - in my opinion."

"Games Workshop are planning a new ruleset for Short-range 13th Century feudal Hussars based on Warhammer."

I LIKE this game (and have seen quotes just like this at the TMP forums)!

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I don't care what books you've read, you aren't using those Flames of War truck-mounted Stormtroopers AND scythed chariots as allies for your 1940's Italians in Abyssinya!!

Holy cow too funny Thanks for the laugh!

I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I am confused about this though; No-one has used Badly painted nuclear-powered Space Marines since the days of 6th edition.
I thought it was all plasma powered?

And on a different topic; So tell me again - 20 Battle-hardened 1-to-1 scale Gene-stealers on table represents how many in real life?

And also; The Carthaginians would be so much better if only they were allowed a second unit of 1/144th scale chain-mail Imperial Guards.
I don't think it would help much really, you'd keep losing them in the flock.

Battle sister of the Order of Lonely Hearts looking for a righteous marine to share crusade with.
Must love pray, fasting, ritualistic flagellation and Promethium.
