This is one sweet looking army. I had the same idea for using undead guardsmen as generic deamons for a nurgle army using FW bits and made up a squad, but now I'm going to have to keep an eye on this thread for more inspiration lol

Keep up the awesome work.

Love those LEDs, I was going to do those for my grav tanks but wasn't sure how... you've inspired me!!

I want to ask did you use a soldering iron?
or how did you get the LEDs, the wires, resistors and battery casing together? thanks!

That's really great work! I think the "raised" 'fex is inspired... and of course... the LEDs are very cool.

Having just assembled the Nightbringer for my son's Necron army, how in the heck did you hollow out his head for the lights and wires without destroying it?

I agree with Gits curiosity on the Nightbringer. I just bought that model last week. Looking at it, did you drill up from the torso and hollow out the entire face?

I did destroy it..

I drilled a hole in the face and in the chest. The battery are in the base and the two wires are placed in a fold of the cape, going true the chest to the led in the head. I greenstuffed the wires in the fold of the cape and greenstuffed new mussles to close the body. The (old) daemon prince got those backpack daemon faces coming out of his back and i used one for his face..

I love this kind of stuff, would love to try it on something simple like a glowing lump of warpstone scenery for my skaven.

where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

I like these. They remind me of the Doctor Who episode "forest of the dead" (It may be that only people in the UK will know what I'm talking about...)

The Vashta Nerada basically are shadows that eat meat. They got inside peoples suits and ate them, so only the bones were left, showing at the faceplate with a glow around them. seriously scary episode and similar to this. Still love it though...
