I'd believe that.. but both were suffering from technical issues related to thread posting and such right before they went down.
if it was an IP issue, they would have probably each put up a page letting their community know.
I've tried to email the webmasters, and neither of their webmaster@... work right now. its like the server that runs their site is completely offline
hopefully any of that group of admins will read this thread and let us know what is going on

I have not been to the B&C for several days. Good luck with it... maybe their server is down.

I highly doubt it's IP issues as both were well represented at LA Games Day. I doubt GW would have let them run events at their con if they had a problem with the forum.

Didn't make it past page one, and we have a contender for most slowed post in the thread.
However, since I actually know one of the B&C mods (I don't think he's posted on here in a couple of years) the words coming directly from Morticon's voxcaster are: The admins are on it, but are just running into a bit of red tape thanks to not so helpful server people <_<
It's a server problem, not GW sitting high up in their tower built from the bones of babies fed nothing but pureed puppies, twirling their well waxed mustache.

I just get a "B&C is offline while we effect repairs" message at the login screen, and "this menu has been disabled".
All things point to server issues. This isn't the conspiracy you're looking for, nothing to see here, move along. Go about your business.

I noticed that they had a combined booth at LAGD (which made me think: man, I need to have a Dakka booth next year!) so obviously the sites aren't in serious trouble or you figure they wouldn't have bothered with a booth.
Good luck to them with their server issues!

I had some communication from one of the moderators. all of those sites are on the same set of servers. the servers themselves are having trouble and (hopefully) will be fixed within a day or two

I'd help work a Dakka Booth/Dakka Events, assuming my wife hasn't been transfered to another base, of course. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw their booth, too.
