I highly recommend the possessed set for making champions, chosen and other units. Possessed are a terrible unit these days but the models are great.

I can't imagine any reasonable opponent would have any trouble at all with this. The key word is "reasonable" of course. There are some petulant children and WYSIWYG fetishists out there that might object. But those are the sorts of players you really should not be playing with in any event.

It's funny that you brought this up. I've been kicking around the idea of taking some old RT Nurgle Chaos Renegade figures, throwing them on my friend's casting machine (god specific RT chaos marines have become hard to come by and expensive when you do find them. I'm not about to perform a conversion with orginal models that are collectable) and combining them with some fantasy gargole wings to create some nice Nurgle marked raptors that would fit in with the "retro" feel of my Chaos army.

Hey! There's some good news in all this.

Those great (ie. totally unecessary) sections of all the new Codices devoted to pretty pictures of weapons now actually has an ingame use. You can show anal opponents the picture of a winged backpack in the 'Chaos' Codex and they'll have nothing to fall back on.

Sure, we swapped variety, flavour, character and options for those inane picture galleries that teach us the difference between a grenade and a reaper autocannon - but now they can work for us rather than against us!!!

Thank the Emperor for Jervis' confused son - we wouldn't have those pictures without him!!!
