1. All of the codices fixed to 5th ed.
2. Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus
3. Codex: Cults (both sides Imperial and Chaos...could also add Arbites)
4. Codex: Ork Clans (I hate Orks, but it needs done)
5. Codex: Tau Septs

I'm all for books that allow some one to use a codex and add rules.

SUB-CODICES FOR ALL......I'm Anarchyman99, and I aprove this message.

Well written? Not self-contradictory nor contradictory with the current rules set? Free of typographical errors, continuity errors, recycled Blanche art or fiction that resembles the scrawlings inside a metalhead 8th grader's notebook?

Seriously, though, I'll probably look for Warhammer Ancients WWI and any supplements to LOTOW/LOTHS. And I hope they do a skirmish level/1000 points or fewer book (Killteam, Lunchhammer/40k in 40 min) soon, and update COD for 5th ed. Since there are only 3 scenarios in 5th, more scenario-based books (Apocalypse, COD, Planetfall, Kill Team, etc.) will go a long way to making me happy.

In the meantime, I'm waiting for the next Hordes book: Cyclops Shaman, Orrick and Pendrake, Slag Troll, Minion Warlocks, yummy! I'm also super excited about Legends. Koldun Lord, Koldun Warcaster, Wardog, Yuri, EIrusk (who I already have. He likes his Behemoth), pretty much everything in the Cygnar section, Horgenhold Hammer dudes. I wish there were a MOWST UA and an epic Gorten Grundback, but hey, that's life, right?

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

1. As Anarchyman99 said, update all existing codexes.
2. Kroot, they're cool.
3. Adeptus Mechanicus, they're even cooler.
4. Armoured company, with scoring tanks.
5. Putting all the marine codexes into one, with special rules for each special chapter.

1) Guard
2) Dark Eldar
3) Bretonians (Hey, if my top two aren't my armies, I should get at least a little love.)
4) OK. They need some love too... a friend of mine plays them, and they're too bi-polar. Lots of wounds, lots of points, lousy stats.
5) Nids. Nids have too many rules that point to old USR's and so forth that end up being disjointed and either worthless or over the top broken.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

YES! And then they can have White Dwarf presents: 'Cult' Chaos Space Marines a Codex Chaos Space Marines Supplement (World Eaters, Thousand Sons, Death Guard, Emperor's Children)

This achieves so much. First they stop wasting time publishing the hot dog book followed by the hot dog with mustard book, then follow that up with the relish and mustard codex. Also it allows them to keep each sub-codex more current with the parent codex. If they do this, they can yank down the PDFs when a new CSM or SM book comes out, cut and paste and re-upload.

Less arguments about how many people go in a land raider or whatever other rules land-mines the guys at GW blunder into.

edit: oh yeah on-topic...

1. Imperial Guard
2. Necrons
3. Dark Eldar
4. Inquisition all-in-one
5. Don't care... but space wolves if they don't put them in white dwarf

I don't really care, but let me say that I've always thought that Codex Space Marines should be called Codex Astartes.

I want to see these 4 publications introduced to WH40K quickly. I'm not as familiar with Fantasy Battle.

1.) Imperial Guard
2.) Dark Eldar
3.) Inquisition (Malleus, Hereticus, and Xenos)
4.) Chapters of Legacy (Space Wolves, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Iron Hands)

Seriously, they gave rules for Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, White Scars, Raven Guard, and Salamanders in the new Codex: Space Marines 5 Chapters out of the 9 original Legions - the ones that cling most strictly to the Codex Astartes. The other 4 Chapters from Original Legions should come out in a second Codex. The first chapter of the book can cover common units, templates, and history. The subsequent 4 chapters let you highlight the individual Chapter Tactics of each army, their signature units, wargear, and HQ as well as their army lists.

So it sounds like the all =I= book has a lot of support, plus some sort of all Marine book. Interesting how many people would like to see the big 5 chapters pushed into one book.

1. ****Imperial Guard****
2. Chaos Space Marine Legions (with Undivided Legions too)

5. Witch Hunters

What I *think* needs to be redone ASAP

1. Daemonhunters

What I'd really like to see done.

2. Codex: Iron Warriors
3. Adeptus Mechanicus
4. Codex: Death Korps of Krieg
4. (tie) Inquisition Codex, some big book with all 3 major Ordo's, a bunch of other stuff from the Administratum, Navis Nobilitae, etc...
5. Codex: Night Lords.
