I posted what GW has said about their own fluff. GW says there is no canon, only rumor and legend. GW says the fluff is only a frame work, no hard and fast rules.
You act like I'm quoting a store employee, but these are quotes from the design team and the publishers of Black Library.

1hadhq, you're missing Doc Thunders point completely. He's saying that GW has provided a framework.......the important word here is FRAME-WORK!
Sorry,thats not what I've read.
But I'm also sure thats not what doc has said.
This means, that within a certain sphere, anything goes. Certain aspects of the agreed history could very well be re-written to suit your campaign.
Another important factor you have to bear in mind, is agreement to play. If you go to a group of stranger, you can propose a game with certain facets up for discussion. If the other gamers disagree, and you feel they're being unreasonable, you don't have to play with them. This agreement to play is just as important in a local gaming group.....but, remember, theres no harm in asking. If the idea, like Chaos Sisters of Battle, is well thought out and delivered in a clear and inventive way, who would argue against it?
I would agree with this.
But sadly, this debate is not about me beeing against it.
Its about "you have to agree, whatever the arguments".
There is no automatic consent. I've only tried to say: Not compatible to existing GW-fluff. Usable with consent.
Just the same as you. For sure bad grammar and typo .
If you're talking tournament games, well, there tends to be a theme that is predetermined by the tornament organiser, but even here you have to agree to play.
In short, you need to take that stick out of your butt, and enjoy the WH40K universe in a way that actually brings pleasure and fun to you, and not in a way that is laid out and instructed to you.
We don't have sticks in our butts here Don't believe those rumors.

NO.
I would see a persons opinion at fluff in a thread more valuable than quotes from GW for the discussion.
Those quoted "authorities" may have a timely restricted grasp on the fluff.
End of a contract could end any argument also.
But here is the question of evil sisters of battle?
Shouldn't we return to this Topic?
Or transfer this "opinion-discussion" into a new thread?

Repeat the word TIME ! the counter is running for every employee to get retired

Importance of persons IS restricted. Importance of an employees words lasts only to the next interview.

Hmm.....I could be wrong, but I think 1hadhq is trying to say you can't necessarily trust the staff at GW, because they may want to keep on the fence in case something they say will disrupt future sales.....
In any case, the Imperium is vast, the various agencies of Terra move extremely slowly, and information is nolonger "quick" and free fom misinterpretation. Until recently, its was "canon" that no Grey Knight had ever fallen to Chaos......until the final Grey Knights book however.....
If you look at it logically, of course the Sisters can turn to chaos, if not, then where would the need for Repentia squads come from, and pennitant engines? The sisters deal with so much corruption, perhaps even more than a Marine would normally, that its almost inconcievable for them not to fall once in a while.
Just because it hasn't been written yet, doesn't mean its couldn't happen. I remember a story in Galaxy in Flames, where a sister did indeed fall to chaos, so if one can go so can others. Possibly not even willingly!

Daemonifuge
Daemonifuge, originally published in Warhammer Monthly, is a series of Trade Paperbacks about the life of Ephrael Stern, a member of the Adepta Sororitas, and is collected as Daemonifuge: Heretic Saint.[8] The main two books of the series are Daemonifuge, by Kev Walker and Jim Campbell,[9] and Daemonifuge: The Lord of Damnation, by Kev Walker, Gordon Rennie, and Karl Richardson.
In addition to the original series, a smaller series was released called Daemonifuge: The Screaming Cage. This series was published in Warhammer Monthly as three part story, and the collection reproduces the original series with additional pages added/edited into the original plot.[10]
Plot synopsis
Heretic Saint publishes the story in chronological order, rather than the order they were published in, in three "books" coming from the three separate volumes.
In Book I: The Screaming Cage, we first meet Ephrael Stern was a Seraphim ranked Sister for the Order of Our Martyred Lady. Mysteriously, she was the sole survivor out of 12,000 that was sent to the planet Parnis in order to battle a daemonic infestation. Inquisitor Silas Hand originally was sent to identify if she was tainted by Chaos and if that was the reason for her survival. While incarcerated, she is attacked by a fellow sister who is a secret devotee of Slaanesh. She defeats them and passes all of the Inquisitor’s tests. Hand was forced to return with her to the planet Parnis in order to figure out her role in the destruction of her Sisters.

There you go.
The concept is nothing new and even though only a single Sister is mentionned as having turned to Chaos, it's proof enough that they are officially corruptible. From there, one can imagine a whole minor Order could turn and voila, Chaos SoB army.

Evil =/= Chaos, and by that I dont mean that not all chaos is evil, but that not all evil is chaos.
Vandir's regin of blood involved a whole major order under an inqisitor nuts enough, while not chaos, to be an aenmy of the Imperium and be considered "Evil" Going so far as to lay seige to the inner sanctum itself! It was ended when the custodes brought the sisters before the Throne Itself (WITHOUT Mr. Insanity) and they were good again, somehow...

They were mislead by Vandire's false proclamations and presumably great levels of charisma. Think about it, the Sisters of Battle have been indoctrinated and trained since childhood to obey the Ecclessiarchy in every way possible, and suddenly the leader of their faith is telling them to start a holy war. If he's believable enough, why wouldn't a Sister obey?
And of course, once they saw the error of their ways, they immediately repented and beheaded him, etc. etc. The fact that the Imperium forgave them so easily puzzles me a bit, though. Usually the Empire of Man isn't quite so forgiving to misguided souls.

It should be noted that the most loyal legions were the ones that turned to chaos. The Luna Wolves, who were so ridiculously good that even GW admits that they are better than the ultramarines, and who had the most loyal primarch until he went to chaos, Word bearers, who worshiped the emperor as a literal god, The thousand sons, who would have stopped the heresy if the Emperor had listened to Magnus, and the Emperor's children, the only legion so loyal that they got to wear the aquilla.
