Badrukk looks like he has been taken from that classic piece of art with the Ork Freebooters by Paul Bonner. Awesome.

The battlewagons are really weedy, compared to the FW model. I have to admit that I was hoping for something a little bigger.
I guess now I'll only buy two. LOL

I do like them, though. I can't wait to get a hold of one and see all the little interior details. I'd like to assemble one with no top on the cab, so the cabin interior can be seen.

I think the Snikrot looks nice. I'll hold judgement on the ears, though... I just don't know...
I'll wait until I can see them better.

Based on that pic of the Nobs it does look like it will support making flashgitz. There one nob holding a weapon chocked full of stuff. It is possible it is a kombi-rokkit but sure looks like a snazzgun to me. Makes sense the kit would do double duty like the loota/burna kit.

I like the character models, almost enough to buy them. I do have the original Space Ork Pirate model and think that this is a nice improvement on the original inspiration.

I remember seeing a Snikrot conversion in a WD somewhere and thought that was pretty cool, but this model is just as good.

Too bad I'm not playing orks at the moment, but it's great that this stuff is coming out since I can pick it up when I start!

wow, I was just expecting a expansion sprue of rokkitpaks to stick on the usual boys' backs - so pleased that GW have gone to the effort of all-new bodies too. My 60 Stormboy army project is back on track ...

great! I already have 60 stormboyz, now it looks like I will have at least 80,damn! Kid of on the fence about the characters. I have 20 painted Nobs already not to mention the ones from 2 boxes of AoBR so looks like I will be going nob crazy! The battel wagons look pretty good to me. I am not a fan of BIGGER model as they are that much easier to see and there for hit. I have 3 of the olf armor cast ones that will more than likely become my trukks of maybe gun wagons. So much new stuff to collect and paint. Maybe I will start a new clan and do it that way....hmmmmmmmmmm

The battlewagons look really nice though, I still don't want a standard one, but I'll be buying one or three for the kitbashing

Frankly I think the entire range is looking excellent and I'm really happy to be returning to an army GW seem to be completing model wise and if you don't like em, greenstuff and remodelling are options.

I'd also wager the shape of that battlewagon front, even with the big-toof shield (with it's natural concave) would support a home made deff rolla and that's got to be one of the easiest things to make for any conversion anywhere.

I wonder how much of that cab at the front actually needs to be enclosed. So far on both model it's the same, but I hope that you can do it without a roof and with the crew showing.

I'm freaking tired of good models being ruined by dumb bionic eyes. There, I've said it.

To me, nothing ruins an orc like a random lens slapped into his skull. Argue what you will about "dok's surjuree" and all that, but to me a solid iron eye patch is far more brutal than some stupid terminator lens thing. It's the one bit I don't like on the AoBR warboss (see also: first bit judiciously filed off). The only place I see for a gitfinda is on Flashgits or the Captain himself.

Ranting aside, I'm still drooling over the battlewagon. 2 or 3 of those kits should see me with enough raw materials to build 4 or 5 vehicles, easily. The new stormboys, while busy, look incredibly kickass. Leather bomber jackets in plastic? Yes please. The new plastic nobs are just brimming with incredible bits. I'd buy 2 boxes just for buzzsaw choppas.

Snikrot I'm not in love with. The splinter cell mask absolutely kills that sculpt for me. I'd have to do a complete headswap (faceswap?) to make him fit my tastes. Also the backpack throws me off. Yes you'd need supplies, but I thought Snikrot of all kommandos would be stripped of kit down to bare essentials (read: two rippy knives, mean countenance) I do like Mork's Teef, and the "Shh" pose is actually growing on me. But yeah, the mask totally kills it.

As for Badrukk, I'm on the fence. I don't like the face sculpt at all, but the other details (like medals hanging from the hat) are incredible. I'd buy one, and chop both him and the WAR CE Grumlok up to kitbash a suitably impressive model.

Regardless, I'm going to spend a lot of money come january...

I think that the Stormboyz are the best yet. Better than the 2nd edition Nazi ones. Better than the 3rd edition "Boyz + rokkits" ones. Plus, their bitz will be very useful for deffcopta and fighta-bomma pilots. I agree that they're slightly too busy, but they're still quite good.

I like all except badruk. Only thing I have that I don't like is that the battlewagon (especially with the top on) looks more as a looted vehicle to me then a battlewagon. Then again, with My orks I am making all vehicles the carrying capacity they should have. Probably have to widen the platform on the back and/or add a platform on the front (making it way to high IMHO) to fit 20 orks on bases...

Still will use it, as the tracks and wheels are very cool, as are the other bits... (I see a battlewagon and a deffdread in the works when I buy the kit. That grabbing claw looks so good...)

With regard to the Deffrolla, looking at the Trukk there is almost certainly a mounting point for the beast in question either side of the Cab.... Perhaps it's designed to take the Forgeworld one, or it's a piece we just haven' seen yet.

The Deff-Roller is most likely not included with the kit, otherwise we'd be seeing one of those two GD Italy models with one right now.

Nice! Love the battlewagons, Snikrot looks OK with the silly goggles, but I thought that Badrukk would be all shiny because he wears armour made of gold teef.

Yup, I'd say they are. I can see a Slavers Body, Whip arm and what is distinctly a Grot.
