I was being sarcastic. I find it interesting that so many left wing self acclaimed "intellectuals" can completely disregard something because it is christian.

It is ignorance and elitism not intelligence.

EDIT: And Im far from religious.

I can disregard her comment, much like Bush's one about how God told him to invade Iraq...and why?

It has precisely diddly squat to do with any Religion, and is instead a Political Scapegoat designed to sway those have been brought up blindly following a faith they have never been allowed to question. God has absolutely nothing to do with it. Indeed, it is my understanding that, having been given free will by The Lord (or not, depending on what you believe of course) that he is not really allowed to interfere in the lives of men, and certainly not during an apparently free Democratic election of a President. I mean, if it really was all just down to Gods will, surely that makes the election smoke and mirrors for Gods next chosen dictator of men?

Same as those phone in talent shows, like X Factor and 'No One's Got Talent'. There is always someone claiming it's God's Will they do this that or the other. In that case then, will the benevolent Lord be sorting out a refund for the hundreds of thousands of mug...sorry, viewers, who phoned up to support their favourite act? After all, if it is all down to God's Will, all their votes have counted for nought.

I think it's time God cleared this one up, don't you?

Sure. In many areas of life, KISS is an invaluable concept. But it’s inapplicable to actual nuts & bolts policies for economic success, as good ol’ Greenspan just conceded. Economics and business are just too complex.

Capitalism is wonderful for the generation of wealth. Government oversight, restrictions, and occasional intervention are necessary to make sure not all the wealth goes to the 1% who don’t actually need it.

I hear McCain using the phrase “spread the wealth” as if it’s an awful concept, but that’s the whole basis of Social Security (among many other policies and programs). We don’t want our old people dying in the streets, or being left completely destitute if their savings and investments are wiped out, as they were in the Great Depression. There are lots of places in our society where we choose to spread some wealth to alleviate suffering and make our country a better place.

Not that I like either of your American Candidates, but to be far if McCain is using the phrase "spread the wealth" then Obama is using the word "Change" too much. Palin seems quite nice from what I have heard from her imo.

I Play: Orks
haven't won a game with them though

I hope you're being ironic.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
