well, im currently deployed there... and im not dead yet, so i guess as a technical course of the matter, yeah i live in iraq

im actually from the US, but in the military, hence my current location....and why my flag deal on here shows as Germany, rather than the US flag

- More CSM
- More painting supplies (Especially paintbrushes)
- More plasticard (Scratchbuilding a Defiler really takes a toll)
- An X-Box 360 (I'm a traitor)
- Fallout 3 (And possibly GTA IV and Left 4 Dead)
- Money

And I know out of those five, I'm probably only getting two (and paying for them myself).

I've just finished my Asus certifications, so I'll probably look into that. Note that it really does have to be small... I've been lugging a 'lightweight' Toshiba for some time now, and really can't bear to upscale. I've always though Asus were a bit rubbish, but I've been impressed lately.

EDIT: PES? I can only fathom... Pro Evolution Soccer? Maybe my brain isn't working. HDMI doesn't concern me either, incidentally, but cheers for the tip. I have to buy my own Christmas presents.

Well, you'll have to wait 'till sometime next year for Atom dual core, or better yet, the Puma platform. Still, it's a 10" with a choice of two batteries and a external DVD-rw, which isn't bad for the price (500 euro).

And yes, PES is Pro Evo (not my game of choice, but I was told that it ran pretty well by a friend who has a N10), but there's a forum out there that has benchmarks and stuff. And Atom wouldn't be all that bad, if they just ditched the intel 945 or 950 or whatever they're using with it.

Other than that, you have the real lightweight that is the Vaio T line, but at 1500+ euro it's pretty steep. BTW, even with the Atom, pair the N10 with CoreAVC (I'd use it, but I think someone's done 1080p without it) and you've got true HD capabilities. The problem is having a TV that supports it, but that's another story...

I thought about an Amazon Kindle but they are coming out with a version 2.0 in the first quarter of next year so i'll wait until then. In the mean time I got my ps3 today with LittleBigPlanet. I haven't played it much but the concept looks pretty awesome.

I've got a few models I want. My BA is going to be moving from Jumpwing to a different delivery system. Land Raiders will ensue.

Also, I need a head. I am modding up a model for Mephiston. I am going to use A Dante model with this rather nice set of angel wings I found from Reaper. But I need to put on a new head. And I don't know if I will paint him gold. Maybe silver, or go for red with an ornate gold trim. Suggestions welcome.
