Wow, the resizing artifacts in the group shot are annoying, but the figures look great in the full sized image.

I am impressed by how weird the bloodletters look just by leaving the full head off, though. The other group is wingless furies, right?

The bloodletter heads come in two parts. They have to be assembled then carved/filed down takes a bit of work but I think it's worth it.

The other group are old Dark elf Harpies without wings.

Nope, no plans for any of that junk yet.
Next stuff to be painted will be 2x10 raptors and 10 bikes. All maxed on power fists and meltaguns.
Then 5x terminators in a LR.
I do still have 3 heavy slots left to fill and I'm fluffily drawn to 3xpredators???

The emperor loved Horus, which caused him to be deceived, and, despite falling in battle to him, Horus will forever be stronger than the emperor could ever have been because he acknowledged his hate. This can easily extend to fighting any other race (the Eldar love their existence, the Tau more or less love the greater good, Orks love fighting, Nids... I guess you'd be good friends with) and ties in with Slaanesh I believe quite nicely, focusing on sensory experience without deeper meaning.

For names you could do Temptation's Mistress or something quasi-gay like that.

Love the models very sweet looking army.

Now as for a name fast attack slaanesh it gotta be 'Premature' something.

These are looking quite good. I'm curious to know how that build works for you, especially since you're not gonna use Noise Marines' specialty weapons.

I REALLY like the convo and paint job on the 'bloodletter' Lesser Daemons. You seem to have more fun with those and the Daemonettes than you do with the comparatively straightforward fallen marines.

Fluff suggestions:
- Given you are relying on speed and close combat, perhaps a focus on gossip and unintended consequences might be cool. Nothing travels faster than rumor and nothing penetrates the armor of reputation more effectively than the witty insinuation of moral decay.
Relevant quotes:
"A cruel story runs on wheels, and every hand oils the wheels as they run. "
In this vein the army might call itself "The Truth" or "The Sweetest Lie."

But I like Cannerus' idea very much as well.

Me too, I'll try to get a solid list up today and throw it to the wolves on the army list forum! I'm sure it'll be torn apart by Mathshammer but i'm not
hugely competetive, just enjoy playing for fun and creating a narrative.

I'd drop the spawns. They are slow, weak and additional killpoints. Why not throw in an Obliterator ? Or some more demons

I like the winged lord and the Slaaneshi Letters the best. Great simple conversions.

I think the bases could benefit from more detail, possibly grass too. And the silver could have more depth, clearly darker recesses and shaded sides of the model.

um i got some probs with those raptors:
1. the standard bearer stands out as he has SM jetpack the rest have wings
2.not so sure about the colour of the standard
3. why is Mr.Bonehelmet holding thin air?

EDIT: forgot to mention: apart from that they rock!

I'm going to use static grass on these as soon as I have a transport sorted for them.
Scorched or Green??? My money is on green, it should marry with the eyes nicely without being too distracting.
A little more depth could be added but i'll see how I feel when everything is on the table and the weathering should make a fair difference.

1)I have 2x10 raptors in the army. 5 have regular jump packs. The first 5 that I painted happen to have an odd one out. I hope they will blend in a bit.

3)I quite like the pose. To me it looks like he is swinging the melta (to level) into his left hand (which is ready to support it). The negative space is a little too square.

for the standard a stark contrast of black and bright pink always looks good. as for the melta gun i guess the pose could work but the hand needs to be doing something as at the moment it looks like you glued it wrong.

LOL. I mistook the "PIP Lord" as "PIMP Lord" Looking at the model, I could see him being rather pimp-tastic.

Finally spent a little time on the whole name and fluff thing!
I've got some way to go with the fluff so none of that yet as it probably wouldn't be
too riveting a read referring to Prince Andingdongaloonie or Mr Wings as he is currently
called.

Some suggestions to be preceded by either:
'The Daemon Prince or Lord's name'. ie Andingdongaloonie's Something Something
or
'The' Something Something
or
'Marines/Followers/Disciples/Brothers/Slaves of The' Something Something

Wow excellent stuff you have so far! I would be honored to be raped by such an army, both figuratively and literally.

As for a name, I've been thinking up some fluff for a future Slaaneshii army myself. I came up with "The Saints of Avarice." It's kind of odd because the color scheme I've been playing with looks a lot like yours. Great minds think alike I guess.

Not much of an update. Just an 'Army So Far' pic.
You should be able to zoom in quite far if you view this pic in my gallery.

I've painted the bases on the remaining raptors, terminators and bikes.
Kinda time consuming (due to the silver undercoat) but mindless. At least it's out of the way.
Also started work on the terminators.
No pics of those until each squad is finished so you will have to wait.
