I have looked at all the sites mentioned in this thread and find 40kempire to be the cheapest.

Seriously I don't understand why there are so many stores when they're all priced the same...

Hi everyone,

I havnt looked here in a while.

I'm the owner of Wayland Games by the way.

Re the Paypal issue... there is an issue on orders outside of the UK that for some reason the Paypal API doesnt work correctly, I could go into thetedious technical issues but I dont want to bore you. We have discussed it with their techies that though helpful still have not fixed the issue.

So we put up the normal Paypal direct payment icon to prevent this frustrating issue impacting customers so much while we investigated a solution.

That solution is in testing at the moment and will go live soon. As well as a few other payment options to give as many options as possible.

We also have a new website in development that will launch in the next 6 weeks, I hope.

We are about to move into a larger warehouse and will expand our ranges massively. At the moment we are struggling with space and so are moving from a 600sqft to 2400sqft facilty. We will have a full retail counter so customers can visit and buy their items.

We are also looking for 2 part time staff to join the team so if any members are Southend in Essex based feel free to contact me.

We dont monitor forums much at the moment as we are so busy, therefore if you have an issue please email us as you will see we respond to questions very quickly as I think it has been the key to our rapid growth.

I've used Wayland before, as have colleagues of mine. No problem with them what so ever, however postal service lost my package!

When I got around to pointing this out (Took me about a month, far too many other things going on just before Christmas) they sorted it out right away and posted me a replacement. Job done!

I don't tend to use such companies regular as I tend to be at Warhammer world about every other week, but if bulk ordering (Black reach and some Dark Elves for a friend) the discount makes it worth its while!

Next time I'm down essex way on business may have to pop in! :-)

My comments are my own, and mine own alone. If you have any complaints, please report to Mr Spanky who will take them down for you.....

I have to say, only used them once. But it was a fast delivery and the customer service was excelent as one of the box sets I bought had a sprue missind and the replacement arrived the next day. Overall I can not recomend them enough.

Just ordered around $250 worth of Tau from them for a friend to start his army(early X-mas for him). I used the paypal function, though the button had to be accessed by right-clicking and opening a new window.

I'll let you know how it all goes! First time using them myself, and I'd normally give the business to a local gaming shop near here so we have a place to play, but the deal on here was too good. It'll give my friend a lot more to play with for his Tau, enough to field an effective force I hope.

Tau Firewarriors x2, Pathfinders x2, Pathfinders w/ Rail x1, Crisis x2, Commander, Devilfish, Hammerhead, Piranha, Broadside and a Codex.

Hopefully it's a good start for him, all he really needs to do is get the glue, paints and a transporter.

Hi -

As a fairly new poster myself, let me give you a friendly warning about reviving old threads before other members give you a not-so-friendly reminder.

If a thread hasn't had activity for 2-3 weeks, don't add to it. If you want to add something, start a new topic and link it to the earlier thread.

I hope your dealings go smoothly.

Please stand by for a regularly scheduled "Thread Lock"

i wouldn't say 2-3 weeks but months would be more accurate in the news and rumors forum. this one was 8 months! old before the threadomancy. farseer, you're new and you probably just used the search function which for some reason returns old threads above the new ones (maybe due to relevance?). you really should check the date on the threads you post on if they're not on the first few pages of a forum (painting/modelling blogs are different though).
