The sheer awfulness of the current Skaven plastics is what led to me shelving them, and eventually WFB altogether. Now I'm creping back in, but waiting for the new Khemri book.

Now the thing is Tomb Kings is the one WHFB book I really do like!!

My comments are my own, and mine own alone. If you have any complaints, please report to Mr Spanky who will take them down for you.....

Weren't they originally designed for Mordheim? That could account for the plethora of bits.

Really? The night runner box has a lot of parts from the mordheim skaven band sprue (thinking about it, they are equal), but the ordinary clanrats were out long before that. The clanrat models are the biggest losers in the plastic line of the skaven.

Had to convert everyone to make them rank up, and I even have a unit being converted into spears.

Have about 160+ all told!

Dude, could you please post some pictures in the gallery or something? I would love to see those.

And while the current Skaven Clanrats are a little lackluster, I think the plastic Plague Monks are fragtastic.

The Night Runners are/were the Mordheim models. The Skaven warband list in MH was mostly an Eshin list.

While I'd like to see some new plastic clan rats, the two units I have that I painstakingly glued to fit and indiviually numbered ( and made it so the screaming bell would fit in the unit) make me not want new models to replace them.

I'd love to the Avatar of the Horned Rat brought back. I'd have an excuse to use the old model.

And here's hoping they make rat ogres not suck.

I had to do that with a unit of old Chaos Warriors, Vengis. Individually number them that is. But it's not like you'd have to get rid of your old clanrats...you could just add some nice new ones to the horde.

I wanted to do a Plague Monk list when the Lustria book came out, but when I realized it wasn't going to be supported at tournaments and such very well, I decided against it. If the new Skaven book makes Plague Monk lists tournament legal, I might be tempted to give it a shot.

I hope Gw redoes the skaven 40k style, so when you have a clan lord (plague lord, master assassin, master warlock) certain units shift around on the army organisation.

If they have a tourney legal Eshin list, I am so there.
