That door looks weedy for an access hatch

Have you been on a real tank? Most of the hatches are small (except the M1 loader's hatch, that thing is huge).

I actually love these models but I don't like that the turret is static, which doesn't make it a turret at all now that I think about it.

just saying the door looks small to let out 20 models.

Im so getting two of these. I agree with H.B.M.C i look upon these new kits with happiness that i can now make many big tanks easily and cheaply. But the pain of the FW ones still lives with me! :(

Oh that was the other thing:

For all our Australian residents, GW is having a release special - any two Superheavies for AUD$300 during March. So a Baneblade and a Stompa, two Shadowswords, or any combination of those three kits and it'll cost you $300 total.

Of course, if anyone's interested, given the current exchange rate, you can get the same deal from Maelstrom Games UK for AUD$235(+/-), and pay no shipping costs at all, so even when GW is having a 'sale', it's still cheaper for us Aussies to order from overseas.

no info on the guard codex in the WD? not even a pic of something new? :( don't get me wrong; i like the superheavies but i'll spend the majority of my upcoming 40k time playing vanilla codex guard and not apoc.

It was just confirmation that there was one, and the pic of the Valk (plus vague references to the 'orders' system). I don't expect any solid previews of the new Guard Codex until around June-July, after its released.

Doesn't that make it a post-view? Or was that sarcasm at how GW puts it all in WD a couple months too late?

It was sarcasm aimed at the GW cloak-and-dagger policy, I'd hazard to guess.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I think you have detected the delicate aroma of sarcasm, dietrich. You smell it a lot in the Dakka kitchen, although sometimes it's subtlety can be completely overwhelmed by the heavy perfume of assholery.
