Okay well I have PM'ed everyone who expressed interest in getting together for a game, and hopefully will have everyone's emails in a day or two and we can set up a time/place

ptlangley and I were thinking the Saturday after Easter (about 2 weeks away) to give everyone plenty of notice, and he mentioned possibly doing it in the evening would be best. But respond to my PM with your email address and we'll work it out through email

A number of us sound like we're looking for a weekly / biweekly group of (fairly) mature guys to game with, and this looks promising so PM me back so we can set this up!

Hope this thread is not dead. I am looking to play some 40k with some mature adults. I live in the Odenton area and will be willing to meet anyone at the bunker. I have been playing for about 3yrs now and have IG, Ork and Eldar. I have SW, but with the new codex coming out in Oct, I have put them on the shelf until then. Recently sold a Nid, Necron and Tau army, had too many and was not really playing them anymore. The weekends are best for me but I can manage to slip away from the family every now and then on a weekday night.

Yeah this probably should be allowed to die. We got a small group together played a couple times (everyone was 25+)but it didn't really take. Anyway there is a google group:

I live in Laurel, I have a couple tables and a ton of terrain I also just got Space Hulk and I would love to give it a whirl. I have been playing since Rogue Trader, but I only have played 5th a couple times.

It would be nice to get a core group that was playing every other week or so. I have space marines, eldar, IG, DH. If you want to play some time let me know, PM me.

I'm not an officer, just suggesting it for anyone who is looking for a club. I'd suggest that you ignore that, and meet some of the players before you decide it's not for you.

It was kinda off putting for me as well, as I do play daemons. I'll judge more when I play the October Tournament.

I'm a LOOOONG time vet (started playing in the mid '80's with WHFBv1 and was buying "Star Soldier" figures before RT even came out!).

I'm also in Annapolis. Just about 5 minutes from Jennifer Square. Thursdays are always going to beout for me, but I might be able to make other days with enough planning. 'Course my wife has things to do as well many weeknights leaving me with kid sitting duties. I also have a table in the basement, but like others would probably want to get familiar with folks before opening up the doors.

I mainly play 40k, but have a couple of WHFB armies as well.

Oh, and I can vouch for many of the Ironfist guys. They're a great group. Just to NoVA-centric for me...

I just got messaged by a member and we're meeting up to try out some Warhammer fantasy this weekend . We tried to meet up last weekend, but work got in the way.

Unfortunately ptlangley is right, the google group didn't really take. I think you have to have someone very pumped to organize these kinds of things to keep it going. I was trying to a little bit, but it's my first year teaching... makes things just a tiny BIT busy here . With all of the existing groups (Iron Fist, Inner Circle...) it seems like there are lots of options. But it is a little more charming to play someone from Dakka Dakka imho

I'll be looking for some fantasy opponents! Unfortunately I just sold my 40k army, so now I am definitely not a good candidate for a game of that

Just meet up with Ritides this weekend and had my first match of warhammer. I am already addicted, and i think im going to start a table this week. If any of you guys that are in maryland wanna meet up and play let us know. It would be good to meet some more people in the area. Hope we can meet up again this weekend.

Yes, definitely! Most of the guys that came out to the Glen Burnie store were 40k-only players, but since you're doing space marines as well as your fantasy orcs & goblins, that should work out well
