Those suits are awsome!

Those suits are EXPENSIVE! They're a combination of TWO different Forge World Crisis Suits, one of which is a special character commander. For $60 a suit they better look awesome, and they do, almost. I only dislike the color he painted their shins/feet.

Here's my army, it's supposed to be a sub-world of the Sa`Cea sept, sort of like a branch off chapter. It's a Hiveworldish world that is convential in their tactics with no mercenarys in the force(I hate kroot) but with a good amount of armor and suits.

My army is a bit different from the pics I have up now but it is still similar and the paints the same.

very nice camo patterns. my tau likes are from opposite spectrums: some days i prefer anime bright primary colored tau and other days a practical camo.

I'm gonna give this a shot... If it doesn't work... well...

Nope. I think they look like flying schoolbuses! LOL! I do have a baracuda, though. Honestly, the Tigershark was such a pain to assemble that I may be permanently turned off to large FW kits. I had to resculpt SOOO much of it in order for it fit that I probably could have just sculpted my own quicker/cheaper.

i'm sorry to hear about that. i've always wondered how much filing/sculpting you have to do with forgeworld models. i sadly like the overall look of the manta (or more specifically love the inside view). if i could buy the upper and lower decks separately to house my army as a display case (themed and built to fit inside a manta anyways), i would. sigh, they had me at "3x the size of a thunderhawk!". still, if i win the lottery, i'll have someone else professionally do the dirty work!

If you win the lottery & decide you have to have one, I could be persuaded to do the dirty work for you! LOL! You already know I have experience!!!

looks good, very clean. between the two units, i personally prefer the light/dark ratio have on the firewarriors more than the battlesuits.
