Your in a battlefield with the Rhino your Leman could move like. Whats in your hand, back at me, I have it, it's the fire control for the Twin-linked Assault Cannons aimed at you. Look again, it's a Deep-Striked Land-Raider. Anything is possible when your Tanks move like Blood Angels, and not like Guardsmen. I'm on a Baneblade.

I just want to chime in that I think that its a great idea for Nate to stop accepting orders for a little while if that allows him to get caught up/clear backorders and recover from his store move/new websites.

I've certainly seen a lot of businesses fail by biting off more then they can chew and not recognizing it soon enough.

One of the features that I enjoy the most and sets BK ahead of the pack is the amazing apoc package deals. I mean, 10X rhinos for $165? Outstanding! If you are reading this Nate, I look forward to new future apoc packages.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I'm not sure where to go to find out about this. I've been trying to contact Bitkingdom for the last week with no luck. Is the store shut down or is this just indicative of type of service this business has? Should I just go somewhere else? The prices are almost worth all this trouble.

No new posts on his forums since 2009.

"New Product for Septemeber" as a news item.

Blog stops at September of last year.

and you can't seem to contact him.

Not tough to connect the dots. )

My advice: Go buy from the store you play at. If that's not acceptable, go to Neal at the Warstore, because you absolutely know you will be getting good service.

Don't bother. The prices are not worth the trouble. I know this from experience. As mikhaila said, if you have a good local store, try and support it. Otherwise, Neil at The Warstore.

most local stores don't offer bits for sale so it's hard to support them in that particular endeavor. that's like referring someone to sam's club to buy a pack of 30 sodas when all they might want is one. the warstore does sell bits however so you can check them out for those particular items. that being said, i do spread out my purchases between my local store (for regular purchases) and the internet (for bits and trades).

I wont recommend you order from the bit kingdom, but if you do want to order, call Nate directly. Email doesn't work, he seems to be computer illiterate or whatever the term is. He is most likely still in operation, the fact that the site hasn't been updated in so long pretty much means nothing (I contacted him back in June or so to get the down low and the business was still "alive and kicking" but they have been focusing on the brick and mortar aspect of the store rather than bothering with the website too much.

Yeah, his prices are good, but as others have said, customer service BLOOOOWWWWWSSSSS.... He's not necessarily trying to screw you out of your money, just not very good at running a business.

That's it. I was excited to do business with him at first, and was part of his Inner Circle customers. But my orders were taking FOREVER, and he was missing them as well. He said he wasn't receiving my emails...but I was sending them from my isp account, so it's not like it would be read as spam like Yahoo or something. After having this happen several times, I kinda gave up. It's too bad, great deals and I'd still be ordering lots and lots of stuff from him.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

BK was one of our advertisers over on Bartertown.
After repeated issues with staff orders, including loads of broken promises, he was dropped as an advertiser.

I cannot suggest even contemplating doing business with Bit Kingdom.

Geez, well I am glad I didn't buy from them. Not to sound like a sellout or anything but for those who need an alternative I prefer going to bartertown.com for buying/trading stuff or if I want specific bitz, bitzbarn.com is great.
