Twenty five quid for 10 plastic minis?
Hm. I don't know how many bits the kit has to have to be worth that price.

Allow me to pile on too...

10 Plastic Greatswords for $41.25!

Wow.

And, no thanks!

If that price for Greatswords is correct, I'd rather by Reaper Crusader box sets and get as many metal guys for LESS!

Archers are $25 which I think confirms the $22 boxes are going up to $25.

So 20 IG will be $50 instead of $35.

Ouch.

If true, seconded.

J/c: Does anyone bother to pay full price anymore? I don't think I've bought GW direct for at least 5 years now.

And when I tried to say earlier that this was happening, I got shouted down for alarmism.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I dunno about the IG going up. I do have reasoning for this! When the IG stuff came up for Pre-Order, the Batallion was advertised at the increased price of £55. So, it's not unreasonable to assume that the prices of all the IG gubbins already included the forthcoming price rise. This also goes someway to explaining the already daft increase in IG price.

I'm thinking that an earlier poster is correct, and these have GOT to be 'misprints'/incorrect pricing...

Those prices seem really wonky. Since when does GW not just round up to the next whole dollar? They are insane, they do price hikes, and they sell expensive figs, but elite infantry boxes are currently $25, they wouldn't be insane enough to increase the prices to $40. Has there EVER been a price of that magnitude? Something tells me that, at the very least, the book and the greatsword prices got swtiched.

You've got the touch!

Oh dang. Good call. I bet that is the case. Switch them and you have 25 for the GS and 40 for the book.

And I mean come on, a $25 hardback book from GW?

Please tell me that is a typo.....PLEASE!!!

that hefty price tag is the only thing that is stopping me from buying 3.

Nono, $3-$5 increase! = 10-20% price increase.

But doesn't a $15 increase on a $25 price point reflect a far greater price hike than a mere 10-20%?

Ah, I see.

I dunno, maybe my spider sense is just off, but the price still seems wonky to me.

Every wave of GW release now have atleast 1 mistake to their pricing. Im thinking its not their employee's incompetence but they monitor customer's reaction before
its released ( from advanced order date)

I think they are testing the water.

If it's a mistake they make the same mistake on the US and UK sites.

Which is possible but less likely.

Thank god I already have a large painted unit of the metal Great Swords! The price is suspect and I think the models are a step down from the metal ones for sure. No matter, the rest of the stuff looks pretty good. I sepically want that book. I will be adding all these to my collection, with the exception of the Great Swords of corse.

Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war!
