Because real life basically took over. The project itself is far from dead, with two Codices basically done (a once-over on the Marine 'Dex will see that hit Version 1.0), and the rules themselves are 99.99% done and tested. We've even started testing Necrons now that I have my army almost completely painted.

I was going to express shock at the "painted" part of that statement... Then I realized you said Necrons.
