The secession of Texas would almost guarantee the recovery of the USA, as the major gun manufacturers are not located in Texas.

Texas Secceding would actually be pretty cool. Cause then the combined wait would be lifted off the United States shoulders and they wouldn't be known as the fattest country in the world anymore!
