not being mean or anything "JohnHwangDD" but you should use a spell checker or at least read through your post again before posting, your posts are much harder to read than they need be.

^ You've just got to find a group that's cool with scratchbuilds and counts-as. (if you have the misfortune to only be able to play at a GW store, you have my pity). I have two thunderfire cannons in my SM armoury. Neither are the miscast lump of feth that GW sells.

Both were kitbashed from bits of other kits. Both are tracked, multibarrel cannons with traverse and elevation. Both cost me around $5 to put together. There are always alternatives

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

*shrug*

I've been planning my Guard army out for almost a year now, and am expecting to pay through the nose either way since I'm shooting for around 5k points(broken up into 3 distinct formations though: an Airborne contingent, an Armored contingent, and a Recon contingent).

It just means I need to reallocate some funds from a few other places to make sure I can cover the cost of the whole army, and takes away from me considering getting into Incursion and getting the Collector's Edition of the Ghostbusters game.

Well, I really wasn't planning on buying anything else from GW until I felt like playing 40k again.

Of course, I will feel like playing 40k again when it becomes....not dumb.

AT-43 FTW!

"I went into a hobby-shop to play m'self a game,
The 'ouse Guru 'e up an' sez "The Guard is weak and lame!"
The Chaos gits around the shelves they laughed and snickered in my face,
I outs into the street again an' grabbed my figure-case."
Oh it's "Angels this" an' "Space-wolves that", and "Guardsmen, go away!";
But it's "Thank you for the ordnance" when the Guard begins to play,
O it's "LOOK AT ALL THE ORDNANCE!" when the Guard begins to play.."
