I'm not scared of death either, because I know there isn't some "God" waiting to punish me for masturbating or working on Sundays
So having your life simply end, having all your dreams unfulfilled and not getting to see the next sunrise isn't at all scary to you because you don't believe that any sort of continuation of existence lies beyond it?
That makes sense. You make sense. A lot of it. So much so that I want you to test your theory.

That makes sense. You make sense. A lot of it. So much so that I want you to test your theory. Some people aren't willing to except a best case scenario. I wish I had enough blind faith to simply accept that all people are welcomed into an eternity of paradise. But I don't. I have a belief in a God, but not faith that said God truly exists. It's something I, and many others, will simply have to wait and find out. If paradise exists, it's wonderful, if your life blinks out of existence with all your thoughts and feelings and memories when you die oh well. You won't exist to feel it. It's hard to except that that is the way one exits the world, but it's also hard to lie to one's self. I keep trying though. So can we call it even? Some of us believe, some of us don't.

And some people can be pleasant and tolerant about it. Other people like Gwar can not. Ever. In any situation. In any topic, any post, or any way on this forum. I'm firmly agnostic, you may have noticed that my plan for handling death was simply never to die. What annoys me is self righteous idiots grandstanding about the metaphysical and claiming a superior belief in "science" when they likely couldn't even read the table of elements and when such a belief has little to do with the concepts of life after death. There is a hell of a lot that physics can not yet explain, and even more that it likely never will. Announcing the superiority and correctness of a total lack of belief is ignorant in the extreme. It's the place of science to handle, proof, and test the real. Not the spiritual. I wish I had enough blind faith to simply except that all people
You are looking for accept not except.

Because I'm tired of trying. The mods don't feel like policing this forum, so why should I even bother?

Really? I didn't know that (but I'm not Catholic, so I don't keep track...)
Of course, just because he's removed something from the doctrine doesn't mean everyone actually believes it.

Except they keep on talking, turning others to their side, and multiplying. Tolerance towards intolerance is not an effective form of control. It never has been and never will be.

Yeah, this is probably the best way, and I think what I would wish for myself as well. Hopefully sometime after reaching the age of 100, for me. I want to hit the triple-digits. Hopefully I'll be in good enough shape to have a kick-ass party, too!
Unfortunately though, we often don't get to choose...

The best way to die is with a smile on your face. Find something to smile about.
It also helps if you believe that you're coming out on the other side. Find religeon/god.
