Yeah, I am too. I'll play around with it over the course of a couple games, see if I prefer full squads or the min-sized.

Good news! War walkers aren't open-topped anymore! (Check your codex.)

So okay, not much, but they are slightly more survivable.

Haha! Very true, I stand corrected. Hey, I'm happy about it, I rather like not being destroyed on a 4+. Of course, a friend of mine is an avid Tau player so it's still a 4+ for those blasted auto-pen railguns...

Yeah, Warwalkers are not open topped.
On the other hand, these beauties are hard to hide so that they eventually get a cover save.

It's a 3+, they're AP1, and you're a squadron.

No kidding? I always read that as if the model were immobilized and you moved the unit away from it, the downed unit would be left out of coherency thus causing it to be destroyed. On that train of thought, if they just stood there in cover anyways, not moving away from the immobilized model, there were no further issues (barring another immobilizing hit).

Unfortunately, it doesn't quite play that way; rather, if you suffer an immobilizing hit to a vehicle in a squadron at all, it counts as a destroyed result regardless of whether you're moving them or not.
