I like them. Repaints are always a mixed bag - sometimes they're just too far gone! But you've done a great job making these guys stick out a bit. Dull gray just doesn't work.

Looks great Slann! I haven't tried OSL effects yet - been a little intimidated honestly - but I like what you've done with the basing effects.

I would like to see the W'lord's body colors match the w'guard's a little closer, just to maintain consistency through the army, but that can be difficult to do especially if you've already returned them to the owner.

Oh, the BL affixed to the w'lord's arm titan-style.... pure win!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Lovely looking models thus far, I hope your client is happy with the army you give back to him. What kind of rates do you charge people on a commission such as this(just for interests sake)?

This is some really nice work thats come along very well and it's been fun to watch these progress. I have to disagree with an elarlier post about the highlighting. I think they need the lighter tones, in the earlier darker base coat they looked unfinished to my eye.

I really like the fact you've tried to give them a real other worldly and ethereal feel, and the posing of the wraithlords is fantastic.

To be honest though some of the light sourcing is a bit extreme. On the Wraithlords it works very well but on some of the smaller figures its a bit too much, especially on the loin cloths. Have you considered blending the colours a bit more instead of using extreme highlighting?

For lighting effects a gradual blend or tint of colour can work really well as well.

P.S - I didn't realise this was a commision so maybe the harsh OSL effects are intentional due to charge and other limitations etc.

Thanks on the complements .

I would have liked ti blend the lighting a little better but it looks better in person , also on a loose time frame as well for it being a commission and all .

thanks all for the awesome comments , the fruit salad was really good lol .

The white wraith bone areas was worked up from bubonic brown all the way to white than glazed over with rotting flesh , and sealed with gloss varnish .

Loving it all honestly. Was taken aback by it.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

The Farseer looks tasty. Is it a mutilated High Elf Mage by any chance?

I'm loving the way that you paint the streaking effect. I like it for your Guard, but IMO it seems to fit in with the Eldar better. Maybe it's just because the Eldar are about showcasing models and stuff. Ah, what the heck. I'm also liking the stars on the spear tip. Definately Eldar.

It took you less than a month to assemble/paint three Wave Serpents to that quality? Nicely done! Have fun with these commision guys.

love the blades my only complaint on this pic would be the NNM gold is a little rough in apperance.
