See,these can all be "New Armies in 40k" ,just as soon as GW releases codex "counts as."

It seems to make some sense to cut the Inquisitorial side of things. Because they are a mix of IG and SM bits (i.e. storm troopers and rhinos) cutting them allows GW to keep better tabs on what is selling well without having to interact with their customers. Why hold GTs and see what players take to the table when you can check sales reports. OT: I don't think a new army is coming out any time soon, there isn't enough '80s sci-fi movies left to copy!

If you ignore the Assassins (which I see as a separate force of their own), there are only three non-Ecclesiarchal units in the book. Then again, Codex: Daemonhunters is almost the same. If Games Workshop wanted to make an Inquisitorial army, they needed to add, oh, I don't know, perhaps some Inquisitorial forces?
You might think of this way, but my Inquisitors, Acho-Flagellants, Inquisitorial Storm Troopers, Daemonhosts, Death Cultists and Arbites all disagree with you.
Daemonhosts are not in Codex: Witch Hunters (which is why I said Daemonhunters is almost the same way), Arco-Flagellants are Ecclesiarchal, not Inquisitorial, and Inquisitorial Storm Troopers and Adeptus Arbites are the same unit --- it is just counts-as. I will concede the Death-Cult Assassins, however, as they belong more with the Inquisition than being put with the rest of the Assassins.
Still, that makes four units out of, what, 20? They should never have done Codex: Daemonhunters and Codex: Witch Hunters. They should have just done a proper Codex: Inquisition right from the beginning (Codex: Daemonhunters + more Fast Attack, a non-Grey Knight Heavy Support and some more options for Radial Inquisitors) and kept the Ecclesiarchy separate as Codex: Sisters of Battle.

All of this doesn't bode well for a Codex: Xenos Hunters, does it?

Eh a SoB army is still pretty competitive against most non fleet armies,
So I for one am hoping they don't touch the codex...because I truly fear them getting rid of faith points and turning them into SM's with boobies..

Generally agreed.
Codex: Sisters of Battle should have stayed as-is (as-was?).
Codex: Inquisition should have gotten the freakshow elements, along with being an allies option for Sisters. C: DH is way too thin as a standalone book, so moving the Arco-Flagellents, keeping the DCA, Storms, & Arbites, and adding stand-alone Servitors would have been a great help in fleshing out a proper Inq book.
