Good luck with this. I used to do a lot of custom TF stuff, so the idea's occurred to me to do 40k/TF stuff before, but I usually decided it would be too expensive for the likely end result. I do highly recommend you take a look at WAVE and Kotobukiya's lines of option parts for things like joints. Also, weirdly enough, Bionicles. And MG Gundam kits with internal frames are a no-brainer.
Also, I'd love a Soundwave Noise Marine Rhino/Predator...

Corpsesarefun should't this thread be reported and locked for being pointless like the one by the obviously new/young poster that you deemed poimtless/reportable?
At least he posted pics of some pics of the bits he was going to use which is more then you have done in this thread.

Two things mate, first this thread wasnt on the first page and wasn't going to be until it was updated and secondly the thread in question didn't even have a first post...
Look at his post count and the fact that every pic he posted was blurry as feth. Obviously a new member and perhaps not super experienced with taking pics. Many first time/novice posters have trouble postign pics correctly at first which is why I'm guessing the pics did not make it into his first post but his second.

I like how you made fun of his spelling, his error in not posting pic and called his attempt pointless all in the same breathe. And people wonder why Dakka has the reputation it does?

im with you on this one. i mean i'd expect elitism @ the bolterandchainsword because most people over there a good painters and modelers . but actually they are all really nice. dakka has a few good painters/modelers and most of them(if not all are really nice. lbursley is probably the best example of such individuals.) and there are more elitists over here. the only reason im over here is for the well painted non-power armour stuff i will however say that this concept is a nice idea
