It's SPACE CRUSADE BAY-BE!

So
I personally am excited for the "mystery box"
I also know in my heart of hearts that it is Space Hulk
I just don't understand why everyone is so upset about the release info coming tomorrow (???)
Wanting it sooner is not going to make it happen.
I never got mad at my parents for not telling me what was wrapped in the boxes under the tree, I knew that I would find out on the morning of December 25th.
I know alot of you would "peek" and find out what is in there ahead of time, that's what the rumors are all about.
Tomorrow, alot of people will be excited, alot will be upset because of the hype machine, nothing will be able to live up to their expectations.

I'm going to buy a few copies, paint them up, and play with my new models.

News folks:

Man darf also für morgen Space Hulk erwarten.

Translation:
- Mystery box hasn't been revealed yet
- announcement tonight via newsletter
- it's to 99% Space Hulk
- price: 80€
- only 5000 German versions, 15 per store
- there will be a trailer about the box at 16.00 (04.00pm)

I don't know why it has to be so rare.

This is especially great for those of us in timezones either far ahead of the UK (like me) or far behind the UK (like most of the people here).

This means that they have to be up early to get it, and I have to stay up late. The only thing that might happen is that it's a worldwide release tomorrow, and they'll have it in store tomorrow (doubt it) in which case I can go by GW on my way home and get it.

Assuming I even want it, but if it's a new space hulk with cardboard tiles that work with the old tiles (and not just repackaged 2nd Ed tiles), I'll get it.

Apparently you will only be allowed to buy one copy.

Bad analogy.
Here's a better one:
It's the morning of December 25th and you go to open your presents (ie you go to gamesday, where they had promised to "drop the bomb"). Your parents (GW) now tell you to wait until tomorrow.

THAT is why it's annoying.

Anyway, hopefully this is just a case of people jumping to conclusions and it will be revealed in a few minutes (ie "trailer at 16:00").

Oh well, dunno if I'll even be able to buy it - had a stupid delay when cashing out money to neteller, probably wont get to my bankaccount for another few days.

Great, so few copies available means 0000 copies for Portugal... and for 80 euros its better be packed with plastic and not just cardboard.

Worse:

It's Christmas and your parents tell you that they'll tell you what your present is going to be tomorrow, but not give it to you for another week.

It might actually be smart. In the short run it's a good marketing strategy as people will rush to buy it more quickly because of this stunt. So its extremely stupid, but somehow smart >_>

I'm giving serious consideration to not buying it, out of principle -.- Yeah, big deal, only one person, but maybe others feel the same - who knows.
