Roofers nailbags. I laughed for 5 minutes straight. Yes, unfortunately the majority of women who would start going topless, are the same fat chicks who insist on "looking good" by wearing shirts 3 sizes too small and exposing us to their muffin top rolls of fat hanging over the top of their juicy sweats. I'll pass on that and just stick to getting drunk girls in bars to pull their tops off.

It is sexual discrimination actually.
On a side note, Harriet Harman is pushing for naturalist rights in the UK now, to great amusement, as now they count as an ethnic minority apparantly.
That's right. People with a different dress (well, UNdress) sense count as an ethnic minority now.
Reckon wargamers count as one?

We have a group of 50+ women that walk around the local parks in a group, topless to make a statement.
My mom was there. Kill me.
Edit: And before you go shouting how awesome it must have been, most of them were...fried eggs on a nail. Tube socks stapled to a wrinkly, spotted wall. ALL of them were 40+. The thing is, it's 100% legal to do it here--we had a court law side with them ages ago.

Umm, here in the San Francisco Bay Area, it's usually not a good idea to let the women who want to take their tops off in public to do so...let's just say it's usually a horror show when they do and much eye bleach is required to remove the memory that is imprinted.

Yeah, boobs are great and all that.
Now that's out of the way, why is it sexist for the law to apply somewhat differently to one sex when it comes to a matter of biology? The rules for exposing women's chests are different to men's exist because women's chests are far more sexualised than men's. This is no different to the idea that budgie smugglers can be banned while women's bikini bottom are not, because the anatomy is different. It's no different to the idea that will be G if there's a dude not wearing a shirt, but a women not wearing a shirt will make it restricted to 15+... because it is more sexual.
I mean sure, if you want to make topless a right just because, then I'm all for it. But the sexism argument is lacking.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. Just a question: how is going topless in public a right? I mean, some might make the argument that it is freedom of expression, but I think that is very flimsy and not strong enough. Maybe people in the West are too obsesses with everything being a right...maybe we should be thankful and content with what rights we already have. On that subject, Western societies are too quick to label something as a right, and many people no longer know how to distinguish between inalienable human rights and civil liberties...

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Barton Springs in Austin, has an area thats considered topless by tradition. In contrast to most venues, many a healthy co-ed can be seen there.
But don't mistake that for Hippy Hollow on Lake Travis. There's nudity there but not of the female kind (avert the eyes younglings!!!)
I don't see an issue with that or breastfeeding. Its the female form.

Right-wing conservatives in America are great. Topless - bad. Assault Weapons - good. Movies with violence - OK for young teens. Movies with sexual induendo and nudity - not OK for young teens. The late, great George Carlin had a routine about replacing the word "kill" with the f-word in old movie cliches.
We're gonna eff you sherriff, but we're going do it slow.
Stop me before I eff again!
I support the rights of women to go topless. And I support my right not to look at them if they're saggy and unattractive. Just because I can wear a banana hammock at the beach, it doesn't mean that I should.
The talk of saggy grandmas reminds me of a joke. An old woman is admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her knee. The attending doctor asks her what happened. She explains that she was ill, and a widow for decades, and was ready to die. So, she thought the best way to kill herself was to shoot herself in the heart. So, she asked her doctor how to find her heart. He told her it was between her breasts. Bah-dump!

There we go with equality. You know america is a state of inequality in all of its forms right?
You see women fighting for the right to walk around topless like guys, and you see them fighting for the right to vote, but do you see them fighting for the right to get deployed in the front lines?
Susan B. Anthony had it right. They weren't going to throw her in jail for voting because she was a woman and she fought so that she could go to jail. That's equality.
