sorry about my absence from the boards, i've been very busy lately, i've been taking graduation tests and the like, just ran into a MAJOR obstical. my liscence ran out on #ds Max and i have no way to re register for the liscence, so the animation has come to a screeching halt.
kid_happy: i do have a storyboard. it might actually turn out to be a little longer than that yes it will have sound, the voices might not be very good, because its just going to be me and some friends doing it, i might be able to use a synthesizer to get them right though... and thank you for the space marine. turbo squid just saved me a TON of time, i have almost every model i need, i'm just going to have to do some tweaks to the ones that i downloaded after i get the liscense straightened out.
physcosamatic: this is just a preview, i'm not done. i have several thingsi'm going to do to the terrain.
progress so far, i have the backpack finished and the shoulder pads are giving me some trouble. but i can't work on it until the liscense agreement is fixed.

Really sorry I didn't find this earlier, but had you considered using this:

That way you have not just models of space marines, but also of necrons, as well as any vehicles, leaders, etc.
Not sure about their copyright laws though, so I'm not sure whether they'd let you use them or even if it's legal.
Either way, you could extract them and use them as a sort of 'subject' to model from.
Hope it helps, as I'd really love to see this project turn out well!

guess what! the software is working again! i got bored of working on the space marine so i decided to start a necron warrior, this is what i have so far for the flayer.

well it seems some newb has taken over my thread while i was gone. any way, the animation won't be finished for a while, as i am the only one working on it, i'm about halfway finished with the necrons.
exactly how i feel BoJangles, but it might be a while before i can start on this again, i have several architecture contests coming up, and my liscense for #ds max has run out, so it will be at least 3 weeks before i can get the money to puchase a new liscense for 3ds max, until then i'll use Maya, only problem is, i'm not as familiar with maya as i am 3ds Max. it may be quite a while before my next rendering post.
Gamefreak, is possible to continue work on demo version (or something like this)? Demo should give enough tools and options as licenceed. I know how hard could be to learn another soft interface. Is possible to see render of necron warrior?

i've tried to use the demo version, but it always seems to crash when i use NURBS and that is all i use in 3ds Max because ProBoolean doesn't work the way i want it to, it always makes anything that was initially round boxy, so i have to purchase a new liscense or borrow a liscense from some one, and no one i know will let me, but as far as the rendering goes, i'll do what i can, and as you see, i'm not on Dakkadakka very often

Aside from the obvious reason why you shouldn't do this, most Keygens are also host to Malware, Spyware, Worms, Keyloggers, or any other hazardous Virus or Security Threat under the sun.
