That wouldn't be too bad. Give you a pseudo MC creature rush and let everything soak fire as your harder hitting units cut the enemy up real good. Your oblits could provide support from downtown too.

vERY GOOD LIST,except find some points for wings. I usually use 180 pt princes w/ MOT, warptime,doombolt and wings. This adds firing capacity to the daemon prince
just somethig to think about.

I'd drop a squad of oblits and just shove in more 'zerkers. If this is a CC list, you want as many of those psychotic guys up front as possible. I'd also say drop the DPs. They will attract fire, but for how long? One turn? Two? They'll be dead from concentrated fire and you won't even be close to the other side of the board yet. Kharn is the guy to go with for a dedicated CC list, too.

I'm going to offer some radical suggestions:
Firstly, dump the Obliterators, the Predator, and two squads of Berzerkers.
Replace them with two Heavy Support Land Raiders, and two squads of Chaos Space Marines.
Stick the remaining Berzerker squads in the Land Raiders with Kharn, making sure that the Land Raiders have Daemon Possession.
The idea is that the Land Raiders and Chaos Space Marines can soften up the opposition with Lascannons first, to dump them out of bunkers and transports, and to frig up tanks while will hit you with pie-plates, and then the Chaos Space Marines can follow the Berzerkers in, using the Land Raiders to obstruct line of sight as they close. The Berzerkers either take objectives that the Chaos Space Marines hold, or they both take the fight to the enemy with the Chaos Space Marines cracking transports, and Berzerkers devouring the soft goo within.

Nurglitch wins. That list is the strongest I've seen in this thread. It provides the CC that you desire as well as some good anti tank from the CSM. Solid transports for your finishers are always welcome. Some may think the lascannons iffy, (I personally do) but the CSM will either land close enough to rapid fire and use all of the weapons or far back to continue sniping with the lascannon. It's not my favorite load out for the squad but it depends on how you use the rhino and LR in the movement phase.

I got to admit I do like your list Nurglitch but I have 2 meltaguns and my anti-tank is 4 lascannons.
If I make the CSM squads double melta and give them Mark of Khorne there be almost as good in CC as the berzerkers.

Just remember to pop smoke when your finished moving up with the rhinos its easy to forget once you get into the game... 4+ cover is a good thing!

The list that Nurglitch suggested is almost identical to my list. It works extremely well plus you have another heavy slot open for a squad of Oblits when you decide to add more points into the list.
I still love the DP though. With lash, you can assault a unit on turn 1...its really amazing if your list is aggro as hell.

Would this list still work If I switched the CSM squads out for more berzerkers?
I'd have ALOT less anti-tank but more killy power and I could just destroy my Enemy in CC by round 5 easily.

Naw, you really need the anti-tank. Popping rhinos with guns to get at the goodies inside, or blasting landraiders (that frankly, without the meltas you won't be able to down) is a good thing. Sure, Kharne CAN kill tanks... but that requires assaulting the tank :/

I suppose the CSM with marks of Khorne are almost as good as Khorne Berzerkers in CC getting 40 attacks on the charge.

I really like Nurglitch's list aswell, more so after watching a Land Raider completely own in a game the other day.
CSM's with IoK, I think on paper it sounds pretty good. Balanced shooting and CC ability.. how likely are CSM's likely to fall-back and as such need IoCG?
