First Chaos Warhound pack finished and ready for basing.

Nice solid scheme for the hounds.

I feel that the green snake horns are a bit out of place though. It just looks like one too many colors on an otherwise great palette.

hey man! must say, i am totally in love with your colour scheme... May you shed your light on how you painted these with me? you've persuaded me to look into getting a troop of chaos warriors to stick my GD Chaos champion, hey maybe it'll turn into an army your an inspiration!

On the base theme:
I finished reading all the Nagash books and really liked them. My army is Tzeentch and magic obssesed so I figured the god of magic sent them on a quest to retrieve magic items from the Tomb Kings tombs and crypts.









I'm using some Beastmen as Marauders, to make the army look a little more diverse and beastial.

here is the Sorcerer of Tzzentch who will be rocking with my Beastmen Marauders.

Hey, that new sorcerer looks kind of familiar... You could use the 'Taurs and call them Ogres. Have a whole BoC themed WoC army.

Once I get settled in Kona I am going to put up some pics of the Warboss you gave me and copy the yellow paint scheme.

You may want to rethink the blues after the rapturous standard debacle. Seems like Tzeentch doesn't like his colors being used so lightly!

Khorne Lords on the otherhand, don't seem to care at all

As a paint job, it's neatly done and impressive... as speedpainting it's downright godly. I'm more of a dull-and-weathered guy myself but I really like your style all the same.

I might suggest doing the boots in black with a grey highlight instead of that lighter brown, though...

Wow Roleplayer, you never cease to amaze.

your characters are great honestly really beautiful, and it shows you ahve a lot of great talent. Only thing I can say is when you do your warriors you dont have to edge everything.. trying doing a model where not all the army is edge highlighted and try paints it in a little creating a more solid blend. Just an idea for ya.

At first I scanned the pics, and thought 'Wow', and then I read that you spent 45 per model, and I was like 'WTF, that means I suck!'. So that is the story of why I posted here.

I think I'll be doing something similar once I finally get around to painting up my WoC army.

I'm not too keen on the snow bases, but thats probably because theres not many snow bases I think looks good.

In my opinion the snows often too "patchy" on the bases. In my experience snow really doesn't fall in patches. However theres often tall grass/bushes etc sticking up through the snow. And if its in "spring" when its melting, then most of the time the temperature fluctuates so much that theres loads of ice patches around the snow.

Edit: Also the boots are way too clean if they've been walking in snow

This can however be due to my location and if snow does look like that around where your from then its great Just doesn't look too natural for me.
All this is intended as constructive criticism, your stuff is 100 times better than anything I can do So keep up the good work ^^

Its actually exactly what snow looks like here where I live (Western japan), a day after it falls, and begins to turn into icey sludge/snow, which is the effect I'm going for.
