Or... you could simply not listen to them. I think it is funny when professionals do this stuff on record, but when some random dude starts talking about how much terrible we inflict on everything... wait... who cares?
If you feel like that guy random ass dude is THAT important, you probably need to have more activities in your life. Everyone has days where everyone else sucks (and they very well may), the important part is to not make a huge habit out of bashing your fellow man... who sucks donkey balls, and makes faces like they just ate lemons. But yes, the same boat we are indeed in, and everyone needs to vent once in a while... make sure if you are a professional, that you don't do it on record though

Perhaps if all the frustrated scientists that feel the exact same way about people, just up and killed themselves, we would all be better off just not knowing how bad some of these problems actually are; and furthermore, exactly how little (in comparison to our other pursuits) is actually being done about it.
