Well - I just got given Ghazghkull and 2 Meganobz, it may be an answer but I am painting them for a commission.

Just a quick question...

Why are Ork Nob Bikers so good and what is this I hear about abusing the wound alocation rule?

The rulebook says in a diverse squad you have to put a wound on each model with diffrent wargear. If each nob has diffrent wargear, then you can put a wound on each nob, so when the mob tears into you its still at full strength, there's just some nobs who have only one wound left.

so basically allocate one wound to each model as long as it has different wargear???

yeah, exactly. If you got 10 bikerz, then you gotta get at least 11 wonds on them before you can drop one.

If they're 10 S10 Wounds, I think you can drop them all in one go.

Actually, witht the sheer size of the Nob Biker bases, you'll be lucky to hit 4 with the Vindicator template. The biker combo gets even sicker with a bike boss, who makes them troops and is very hardy in his own right.

Just kidding, Im glad you settled on an army you like. Now I have to decide between SW and BT for my SM army. I've got 40+ marines and a couple vehicles im gettin from a friend when i get some cash. They're black templars, but if i go SW i can easilly convert em. Yeeesh! decsions, decsions......

I suggest Orks. You can grab them on the cheap from Ebay or Craigslist if you're strapped for cash and they're much more fun than Space Wolves.
