Delephont and Emperor's Faithful,
You guys have great ideas.
I like the idea of capturing the war from a regular family's point of view. We know what it is like from the military point of view, but to be a civi in the far future...interesting. With a Space Hulk, there could be so many scenarios...
I think we should start our own branch of the Black Library!

Can you imagine, actually producing books that people really want to read, answering questions that really help to flesh out the WH40K universe.....rather then pushing propoganda that helps sell the latest army box set, or the latest game expansion.....

.....ah, to dream.......

Man down, Man down....

I have a dream!

A dream where the fluff of Gamesworkshop can sit down at the same table as the fluff that makes sense.
I have a dream that no longer will fluff be forever stuck in the year 999.M41.
I have a dream that the shelves of the Black Library will be stacked to rim, of enjoyable, interesting fluff.

I dream of this, and so much more...

Thanks!

We shall write fluff on the seas and oceans,
We shall write fluff on the hills and beaches.
We shall never forget the retconned fluff,
Wherever that fluff may be.

I agree that books from the orkoid perspective are hard to read, especially if they're entirely in ork speak. And I'm a big ork fan. I second the notion that a space hulk book written properly could be fantastic.

Now, what would I like to see:
-Rogue Trader
-Moar inquisitors done well
-POV of a Traitor, make it sympathetic!
-Psyker in the gaurd/black ship/recruited into the inquisition
Arbiters, done well could be good too.

I would like to see more of the chaos legions infighting and the many squabbles and disputes that occur among the traitor legions. Over and over again, chaotic warbands are presented as Grand Overlord Doom-death, with maybe a sorceror and two lieutenants, and a bunch of fanatically loyal thugs with or without power armor. But we're talking about a bunch of characters that are known throughout the galaxy as the epitome of vicious, treacherous, and ambitious. Getting a warband together can't be as easy as "Oh, that guy is shiny because the author says he is. Let's do what he says" all the time. C.L.Werner has done a good bit of this sort of work in his Fantasy novels, but I'd love to see the 40k rogue's gallery get a similar treatment.
