Maybe that is why he is sculpting for us, he owns a piece of the work and company, sculpting is a harsh mistress if you are giving your work away after your done, its like a piece of your soul

I wish I was up to it for sculpting. I'd love to do it, even if I'd have to have another job just to live.

I've considered applying just cause I'm local and my main job covets the bills, so some freelance would be good for spare cash and experience.
Am I mad?

I know when a new 'Mech is fan-paid sculpted for Battletech for Iron Wind Metals, the total cost is about $800. I don't know how that gets spread around though.

The best part about their email customer service (Im not sure its actually service, more like torture) is that after 3 weeks I got a response.. and the response was that they needed more information and to email again

And that's why myself, Forge World(seriously. It's on their site in the "Contact Us" section. It SPECIFICALLY STATES: "You can e-mail Forge World any time, however if your enquiry is urgent we strongly recommend that you telephone instead. Due to the sheer quantity of e-mails Forge World receives we cannot guarantee a speedy reply to your e-mail." and "If you have a question about your mail order, a problem you need resolved or anything else urgent, please telephone us for an immediate resolution as we are currently unable to answer emails."), AND EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER BOUGHT FROM THEM say to call them.
Is it really that hard to pick up the phone during lunch to ask about your order?

Sheesh people, yall need to calm down a bit
I have personally seen the numbers and they arent great. People tend to forget how much time and effort is put into master models needed for casting.

Ive heard that from more then one solid source.
I would try and apply but frankly, im just not that good. yet

Also, in an ironic twist on something you threatened to do previously, I'm going to make another promise.
If the package is not signed for, it will be returned to me. If it is returned to me, I will set out everything that is in the box of import and burn it. I will watch it go up in flames.
The video that I shoot of it will be posted to YouTube. I will email you a link, as well as post links to it in open forums.
Remember when you threatened me that, if I sent you anything, you'd burn it and send me a link to the video, Matthew? Well, this way, you'll get what you want (burned models), regardless - MagickalMemories |

Well, that all depends upon a number of factors, really!
But, post some of your work so we can take a look!
