White Scars (off the board) vs the Tau who infiltrated his kroot blocking the deployment edge? I think that's till one of the most insane things of seen as a gamer
IIRC i was told that it was IG who did blocking, so i was told, and the master of the fleet (or one of those guys) delayed his reserves. But anyway i bet the white scars player was gutted lol.

A couple of years ago, I was playing a game - my SM vs. his IG. My dice roll nothing but 1s and 2s. He has wiped out half my army by turn 3 (I hug cover). I have killed NOTHING.
He says, "Let's start over," and insists we both use his dice.
Great sport. And he deservedly won the rematch.

Good luck in WFB just recently: my first turn (opponent had the start) fired 9 jezzails at a steam tank and wounded it 4 times, next fired the Warp cannon, distance good, rolled str 10, and lastly went on to roll for wounds and rolled a 6.

My favorite good luck moment was my Sniper Fex catching a DE Archon(with Shadowfield, mind you), his retinue of 5 incubi, and Drazar attached with barbed strangler. No scatter, hit them all, all wounded, opponent rolled saves. All that remained was a lonely incubi looking around saying, "Oh crap."
Making 8 +5 invul saves for my Bloodletters in one go was pretty sweet too.

Ive saved three 6+ saves for my NG's. Wasn't that lucky but it annoyed my dad (who was my opponent), not that it really matters in the grand old scheme of things.

One of my best AND worst happened on the same mini, in the same shooting phase. I had a boss on a bike w/pk. On my turn I went to try and claim a LR trophy completely forgetting about the rolling on 6s for it moving. SO missed horribly and felt that oh crap feeling.
SM shooting turn, naturally everything was really close together. Land raider redeemer, fired the flamer and a storm bolter I think, failed to do anything, a full tactical squad in rapid fire range, hit like crazy, saved all the saves, a Librarian used some crazy spell failed, another tactical with a missile launcher hit me like crazy, STILL rolled all the saves.
I was thinking holy cow Im going to survive this and actually do some killing in my phase. Last thing left was a razor back with heavy bolter and a storm bolter. The h.bolter fires, and FINALLY wounds me once, so 2 wounds left Im golden. The STORM BOLTER of all things fires off, hits and wounds with both, and naturally I fail them BOTH. So it was left to a lone gunner in a razor back that did what an army couldnt lol. It was epically hilarious.
I think my brother even painted some checks on the side of that guns just because seriously, it downed a biker boss on its own

Not mine, but just witnessed this at the monthy tourney.
Warp cannon fires at anvil of doom and barely misses, but manages to cross a dwarf cannon and organ gun, rolls strenght 10 and wounds both. number of wounds to each: 6. Dwarf player looks like someone ate his cat.

Today my eagle, even though it did not do much, except a single march block, survived 2 flickering fires, 2 gifts of chaos, a cleansing flare and another d6 s4 magic missile... and he only had a wound left at the start of all this shooting.

Yesterday at our FLGS I played Witch Hunters against my friends Blood Ravens.
My tactic I use for my canoness to speed forward in an Immolator and cuase havoc in thier ranks (or at least draw thier fire). Immolator is wrecked after moving 12". She footslogs the whole way surviving but on one wound.. She then gets into combat with a tactical squad and the Captain. For the rest of the game she never fails that 2+ save. Despite thunderhamers, power fists and waves of normal attacks, she still fought on. (I used acts of faith to keep that save an invo.) My opponent frustratingly asks why I never rolled a one. (at one point I rolled over 10 dice for saves and never failed.) I then pointed out that I had rolled nothing BUT ones for my reserves. ANd when they DID come on, they mishapped and I rolled ones.
It was pretty funny and we both enjoyed the game.
Funnily enough, in the next match my canoness did the exact same thing, killing a devastator squad and wounding the chapter master before dying on the last turn.

I cave my Ng shaman the collar of Zorga (animals, steeds and monsters require 6s to hit the bearer) after he was killed by a vicious headbutt from a horse.
